This air conditioner does not have a remote control but only two knobs that can be turned, one for temperature from 1-7 and the other for mode, including fan speed or cooling speed, high or low. At a temperature of "6" this air conditioner gets very cold. If I had to describe this air conditioner in one word, it would be - cold. It's definitely not whisper-quiet, but I've used some low-end cheap air conditioners over the years and this is definitely the least loud of them all. It's really not much louder than a fan, It's just a pleasant white noise that fades into the background. Overall, I think this is a great air conditioner and a great price. ... show more

Very annoyed it doesn’t fit my tiny window . How hard can it be to correctly measure it !! Thanks for nothing ! Will return it since you can’t post true size .
