Awesome product by AceGamer! I rarely leave 5-star reviews, but you guys earned it! These two controllers not only function well, but they’re easy to connect, and the grips are awesome! My wife and I could not justify spending $80 on the “Switch Pro” controller, so we opted for this route. It’s an added bonus that the LED lights on the front of the controllers not only symbolize which player is 1/2/3/4, but additionally indicate whether the battery is charging (all 4 flash when charging; flashing stops when fully charged). There’s no lagging or random disconnect during gameplay, and movements are precise. Thank you guys for crafting an affordable option for everyday people like us who work hard for our money!

Exactly as stated. These controllers connected to our switch 2 easily and it was a very simple process to go into our switch settings and designate which player/controller for us all to play. The included charging cords were also decent - but super short. Not a big concern as really any type c charger will work and we have longer ones already to switch out if/when needed. To our surprise the controllers were fully charged and ready to go out of the box! I can't say thats the norm for every purchase, but for us it was a nice realization. The controller itself is pretty solid and doesn't give off a cheap/plastic vibe. We haven't had them for long but they appear to have good durability. We recently chose these controllers (over another set we also bought that are not as easy/straightforward for setup as these) and brought them on a very long roadtrip to setup at our destination. They handled the trip great - especially as my son packed them a bit rough. Overall - great choice, can't really go wrong here.

Forget those confusing official instructions—they're pretty much worthless for this. Here's a straightforward way to get your controller hooked up to the original Nintendo Switch. I'll walk you through it step by step. 1. **Enable Wired Communication on the Switch**: Head into the System Settings menu (it's the gear icon on the home screen). Scroll down to "Controllers and Sensors," and toggle on "Pro Controller Wired Communication." This lets the Switch recognize wired controllers properly. 2. **Hook Up the Cable**: Grab a USB cable and plug one end into the back of your Nintendo Switch TV dock (the USB port there). Connect the other end directly to your controller. Make sure everything's snug—no loose connections. 3. **Prep the Controller Pairing**: From the Switch's home screen, go to the "Controllers" option (it's at the bottom). Then select "Change Grip/Order." If your Switch isn't already docked, go ahead and dock it now—this helps with the connection process. 4. **Activate Pairing Mode on the Controller**: Press and hold the "H" button on the controller (it's usually the home button). Keep it held down for about 5 seconds until the blue lights numbered 1 through 4 start flashing back and forth quickly. Honestly, this thing is very good for the price. I'm a little disappointed to find out afterwards that you cannot do looping macros on this thing. The macros work very well but are not going to automate things like shiny hunting or Pokémon battles. It connects to the Switch 2 easily in settings. However, my issues with it are definitely negatives. Firstly, the D-Pad is squishy and does not feel good. It works, but don't expect the best quality. The controller manual is confusing and hard to understand so be prepared to do some experimenting with programming. The guide also says it can wake the console, but I have not successfully gotten this to work.
