Bought this for my 12 ft. Jon boat. Runs great and very easy to connect and use basically attach to a battery and go. Took this out on a small lake on a breezy day and it performed wonderfully wind might blow you sideways but the 55lbs of thrust it provides allows proper course correction. Did not have any issues and spent 2 hrs. floating on the lake. Battery draw was 1 bar after 2 hrs. of continual use. This pushes our 10’ inflatable boat around the lake just fine. It’s not fast. Inside the box paperwork says it’s 0.6hp. It’s fine for me, quiet but my husband wants something faster. It has clips that clip right onto a battery. Very handy. We just used an old car battery. Once we even clipped it onto a lawnmower battery but we didn’t go as fast or long obviously. With the fully charged car battery and on highest speed it did vibrate a good bit. It seems well made and I like it just fine. ... show more
