While I'm tempted by the fancy fancy headphones, these do all I need. They sound good. Music sounds good. Callers report that my voice sounds good (exception: in wind - but I think that is inevitable). They seem to be sturdy - they haven't broken in a few years, although I lost the little silicone ear device and had to buy more. I need them to be good but not too expensive because I do have a track record of loosing them or damaging them (previous earphones, not yet with these.) ... show more

I love the sound quality, the way they fit in my ears, and the fact that they remain completely intact despite the many times I have snagged them or dropped my phone. Also I believe they are healthy alternative to earbuds when it comes to EMF

I have been finding that Amazons prices have been creeping up like everybody else. Product works just fine and I have successfully had Skullcandy headphones that have worked well for years, so I’m going to keep them even though they were more expensive than I could buy them locally

Honestly it’s good but I feel as if the rubber things for your ear need better quality they slide out my ear a lot and for 32 dollars I don’t think it was worth the money I will still be using theses though

I work in a loud plant at night and needed something to be able to listen to music and watch videos on breaks. These fit the bill. I had an expensive pair of wireless ones, but they kept losing connection and started acting funny so I bought these wired ones. Good product

I only found out today it came with volume controls. Which is good because having an earbud set with that sort of sound quality with volume control is nice. The buds themselves sit comfortably in my ears, and can do so for hours on end. Strongly recommend attaching some sort of clip to anchor the wires to clothing to reduce cable interactions causing more unwanted noise. Noise isolation from the earbuds is also great, and can reduce external noises without the assistance of an Active Noise Cancelling circuit. There's no worry about losing power to the buds, since they are wired, but the tangling of the cable is the biggest hindrance. Recommendation: get a small case to carry the earbuds in. ... show more

*EDIT/UPDATE* I tried to get a warranty replacement for this item (see my review below). I received a response from the company. These headphones are no longer available or carried by Skullcandy. They are part of a retired/discontinued product line. That means that my hopes of getting a warranty replacement is not possible. They did give me a $40 coupon (what I paid here on Amazon plus what I paid to mail my defective headphones to them) which can only be used towards something else on their site (which sucks because they don’t sell any lightning wired headphones on there at all and their prices are already much higher there to begin with). I wish they would’ve at least told me that this model was discontinued before they instructed me to mail mine in (really got my hopes up). Just a heads up: the manufacturer’s warranty cannot include a product repair or replacement on this. Be ready to experience the same thing if your headphones fail on you after you’ve exceeded the 30 Day Amazon return policy. - - - - - - - - - - - - - To start off, i was looking for some WIRED headphones that would go with my new iphone (upgraded from iPhone 6 to iPhone 14). Bluetooth headphones have always been frustrating and unappealing for me (forgetting to charge them, etc)…plus i am not so big on the idea of having a wireless signal receiver jammed in my head. Too bad Apple got rid of the AUX port. Anyways, I began my search looking at Skullcandy, based on my past positive experience with them. My wife has Apple EarPods, but they simply don’t stay in my ears properly. Plus i wanted something black. I was excited when I came across these. Wired for lightning port. Black. A brand I loved. Pretty good reviews overall. So I ordered them. I absolutely loved these headphones right away! The design, the sound quality, everything! However, it was all short lived. After only owning these for a month (pretty much exactly a month and a day), the left headphone went out completely, and the right one was not nearly as loud as it used to be. In the time I had them I got to use them only 10 times or so. When I used them I mostly used them to listen to audiobooks at night (I never really cranked the volume up super high or anything…I value my ability to hear). Been a Skullcandy fan since 2006 or so. Always loved the design, quality, etc. plus, having the skull logo is just pretty cool, overall. However, I’m just very disappointed with these. ... show more
