I have a bad tendon in my ankle to where the doctor said that the only way to help my problem is with ankle surgery but with this brace for now I get support as my ankle gives way and I have really bad instability and weakness to where I feel as if I will take a flop and fall to the floor. This ace ankle brace is great to use and I recommend that people buy this ankle brace if they have a bad tendon with swelling and stiffness as I cannot bend my ankle at all and I have to use a cane because my balance is way off the marker and I am wobbly so I feel more secure with this Ace ankle brace. ... show more

    • Great Very Comfortable Support
These are great medium support ankle braces. I severely sprained my ankle playing basketball a few years ago and ever since my doctor said I should wear an ankle brace for any sports. Since my ankles are so weak I wear a brace on both ankles. The first style of brace I tried was a lace up and Velcro brace. It had great support but was miserable to wear with a shoe. These ACE neoprene ankle supports are first off very comfortable. You do have to have a slightly looser fitting shoe but for having a brace on they are very comfortable and don't bother me when I wear them for hours at a time. They also provide moderate support. Since wearing these I have not sprained my ankle again! They give you enough stability to keep that ankle from getting in that awkward position that causes those bad sprains. But they do not hinder your ankle movement. I use them for tennis and racquetball which both include much quick footwork. I have used for baseball and basketball and they work for those sports as well. The only complaint I have is that occasionally the Velcro comes undone or loosens on the upper strap. But this is easily remedied by readjusting. Or another option is if you wear longer socks under these you can fold the top of the sock over the strap.     • A LITTLE LARGE FOR MY SKINNY ANKLES
I ordered these to stabilize my sprained ankle. They worked pretty well but I'm a small woman with slender legs and I found them to be a bit bulky. The straps are kind of wide and it was difficult to velcro them as snugly as I would have liked.

    • Great support but a bit rough on skin
First, I am easily allergic to different fabrica, especially if they are not smooth. Wearing the brace makes my ankle skin hurts. However, the problem is solved once I put my socks on first and then the braces.

    • Hands down the best ankle brace for vigorous cardio workouts.
I had bought and had to return other ankle braces to try to find some that would move with me while I do my cardio workouts. Other braces hurt the front of my ankle bending, or where not enough support. The only thing negative I could say is that on the back of my heal I need to put a piece of Mole Skin at the edge so that it doesn't rub a sore. Very worth the money, and I hope this helps someone else find a good ankle brace without having to go through many others to find the right one! ... show more

ACE-207248 Adjustable Ankle Support arrived in a little over 24 hours with Prime. Have purchased 4 different brands ankle supports. Prefer this Ace with two straps (no plastic stays, not too high on ankle)...more comfortable and keeps my ankles and feet from hurting. Do have to be careful how I wrap it on foot so it fits comfortably in my shoe. Nice, it can be worn on either foot. Can wear it all day...It does not make my foot really hot like the other wraps. ... show more

I don’t see how these are reversible. Comfortable, yes. Helpful, yes. But not reversible. So I bought two.
