We aren't yet ready to use the tarp, because we got it for camping, but I did open it and check it out. I do like it. I have not had a tarp made of material like this before. It is not the same as the normal cheap woven poly tarps that you see most commonly in blue. It is also nothing like the canvas tarp I have. It is a form of poly; it's polyethylene. It is a tight weave with strands that have a size and shape like thread. It seems like it will be very durable. I also like the straps instead of the grommets that you see on most tarps. That's often where a tart will start to tear, and these straps seem considerably stronger than a grommet. I do wish it was a color other than black, because it will get hotter than any other color and absorb the most sun rays. The sun always weakens any kind of poly-product. The price is higher than a similarly sized cheap tarp and higher than a mid-grade tarp. I do agree with the claim that it is heavy-duty. It may not be what you would want to be outside long-term in the direct sun, but it is still good for many different applications. In direct sun, a canvas tarp is usually the way to go, but canvas would probably cost more, so it depends on what you need it for. Overall, I will say that it is a good value at the current price of $29.99 for a 7x12. The second picture is a close-up of the fabric, just to try to show the weave and type.

This is an excellent tarp! It's well made and the material seems very strong and durable. One side has a fabric type feel to it and the other side seems like a waterproof membrane. We used it on a camping trip where it rained for 3 days and the tarp kept everything under it dry. I especially like that the attachment points are not holes in the tarp with metal grommets. I have a pile of tarps where those all rust or get torn out! This tarp has fabric loops on the corners and sides. They are well stitched in and don't look like they will pull off easily. For a well made 20mil tarp of this size, the price is great! I've paid much more for the typical polyethylene tarps that never last! I will probably be buying several mor of these.

This 7x12 ft heavy-duty tarp is impressively tough and well-made. The 20 mil thickness gives it a substantial feel right out of the package, and the Oxford fabric construction appears much more durable than the lightweight tarps I’ve used in the past. I got this primarily for covering outdoor equipment, and it has held up well against rain, wind, and sun exposure. The waterproof material does an excellent job of keeping everything underneath dry. I spread this tarp out to get a good look at it and test the quality. It is lightweight enough to handle easily, but it still has a heavy-duty feel to it. It was very easy to unfold and work with. My favorite feature is that it doesn't have metal grommets, which can rust or scratch things up. Instead, it uses strong loops for tie-downs. Because of the heavy-duty material, this should last a lot longer than normal cheap tarps. It sheds water great so moisture just rolls right off, and it feels tough enough to handle harsh weather. It is definitely a versatile, multi-purpose tarp that will come in handy for a lot of different jobs.

This Accompagner 20 Mil Heavy Duty Tarp (7x12ft) has been a solid, tough cover. The Oxford fabric feels thick and durable with good waterproofing — it handles rain and sun exposure without issues. It’s puncture and tear resistant, which is noticeable compared to cheaper tarps I’ve used. The reinforced webbing loops are strong and well-placed for easy tie-downs with bungees or ropes. I’ve used it to cover firewood, equipment, and as a truck bed cover, and it holds up well in wind and weather. The black color looks clean and doesn’t show dirt as much. The only minor thing is that it’s pretty heavy when folded up compared to lighter tarps, but that’s expected with the heavy-duty 20 mil thickness. Overall, this is a high-quality, reliable tarp that does the job for serious outdoor use. Great value if you need something that lasts longer than the thin blue ones. Highly recommend.

I originally ordered this tarp to use on an upcoming camping trip, but it ended up saving the day much sooner when my daughter sold her home and had to move out this past weekend. Of course, it rained all day long during the move, but boy oh boy, is this tarp completely waterproof!
