I have a 2021 M1 Pro. Once you have the driver installed, its as easy as plug and play. Cons .. you need another power source to charge your laptop. I'll keep this as my backup. Bottom line you get more than what you pay for as compared to the other options out there.

Only worked for 5 months

I purchased this in May. It is now October. The HDMI ports are completely unresponsive on the unit. I have verified its not my cords or monitor by testing with my other docking stations. Really disappointed that this failed so quickly.

MBA M2 with two 27 inch Samsung 4K monitors. Works well.

Works well. Hooked up two monitors via HDMI, plugged it in to the USB-C port on my M2 MacBook Air. Installed the DisplayLink software and it works perfectly. As others have noted, it does get pretty warm when running. Will keep an eye on this but since it hangs as a USB-C dongle, it does get ventilation. Time will tell if the hear impacts how long this thing lasts, but by then I hope to have upgraded my Mac!

Easy set up and works well so far

So far so good. No latency lag with 2 monitors connected. I have a wireless mouse and keyboard connected through it using USB A. I also have a charging cable via USB C. Everything connects to my laptop through a single usb C plug. You just need to download the displaylink driver from the website before you can use dual monitors with this. It was fairly easy to set up

I've been using it to achieve a triple monitor setup on my laptop (built-in 1080p screen and two 1440p external displays), and it has been working for several months. DisplayLink drivers were pre-installed on my machine, so it was plug-and-play for me (your mileage might vary). My one complaint is that there can be a lot of latency (time between input and display) and occasional stuttering. This is especially apparent when there is large amounts of movement on the screens. This is just an inherent limitation with the technology, and you really can't get any better without jumping into a higher price bracket. If the latency really bothers you, I recommend dropping your resolution. It performs perfectly if I set the two external displays to 1080p, but I am ok sacrificing some performance to keep 1440p.
