My six year old "purple" light finally died on me about 8 weeks into the veg stage, so I decided go with something more modern and efficient. One note - there is an error under the "specs" on the amazon product page at the time of writing this. The 4x4 model draws 400 watts, not 100. This thing is a beautiful, heavy duty design. Everything was packed very well, the included documentation easy to follow, and their beautifully illustrated grow guide is a nice addition for relative newbies. It is packed with all sorts of info you need for a successful grow. The light output and spread / coverage is excellent in my 4' x 4' x 80" tent, and the included hardware makes for an easy setup and height adjustment. It does put out a fair amount of heat, but the AC Infinity exhaust fan (not pictured) takes care of the heat just fine. I'm excited to get so much more light output with a much more efficient instrument like this, and I can't wait to see how my next grows go from start-to-finish with all the new AC Infinity gear. I liked this light so much I immediately ordered their exhaust fan / filter combo, a clip fan, and the 69 pro controller. Can't wait to get everything set up and automated today. Wish I'd just gone for the all-in-one tent kit from the beginning! The energy savings alone from the more efficient LEDs, and being able to schedule everything more specifically, should pay off in no time. Will definitely be adding their humidifier and heat mat for the next cycle. Highly recommend! ... show more

The design and size of this light is very underwhelming, so when I unboxed it I was originally going to return it based off looks since it looked like it'd be underpowered, so I chose to wait a couple weeks before returning. After giving it a chance I am nothing but impressed with the results(no, I have no pics) I have achieved in my 2×2 for such a cheap price. It's benefits are: It's flat like a pancake so it easily installed and saves space, doesn't produce a lot of heat, doesn't use a lot of watts, good amount of light coverage and intensity with full spectrum, doesn't bleach your plant tops when the plant get RIGHT UP TO IT, doesn't get hot af to the touch, and comes with a dimmer and a usb cable for linking lights. The ONLY DISLIKE I have is that the power cord for this light is not as long as I'd like, but extension cords fix that. ... show more

As with all my other ac Infinity products this light is well made. If you've ever handled the cheap LED lights before and then you get your hands on this you can just tell it's made with high quality material. The description says they are LM301 B diodes but the box it comes it says LM301 H. I don't know if thats a typo but if not that's awsome. This light would take care of a 2x2 space well but I'm using it along with a S24 in a 2x4 and it's killing it. The light gets a bit hot to the touch but I'm not have heat issues in the tent. I definitely recommend this light for a 2x2 area or adding it in to supplement other lights in a lager space. ... show more

Update 5/23: After about 22 days of waiting, AC Infinity came through with a new light for me. I hope this one lasts longer than 11 months like the first one. Just glad to finally have some decent light again for my plants. Update: My light died in less than a year after use. It's my only grow light and I took great care of it. I never dropped it, never bumped it, never damaged it at all. It just died. The light didn't even last 3 grows. So I contacted AC Infinity for a replacement because it falls under the 2 year warranty. They seemed very helpful, they said they shipped out a replacement for me, I even sent my old one back immediately. It's now been two weeks since I contacted them and the tracking number for my new light has still not been updated. They keep giving me the run around and say my new light has been shipped, but today I called UPS and they say they don't have the package in their possession. Now I don't even know what is going on. AC Infinity took my old light and have not shipped out my replacement, but at the same time they are claiming they have. I'm starting to feel like I got ripped off big time. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So I've been using two older box-style LED grow lights in my tent for the past couple years. You know the ones with the fans built in? In the summer time, even with proper ventilation, my tent was regularly over 100 degrees with both lights running. I've only had the AC Infinity Ionboard for a few days now and I can tell we're going to be good friends. The temp in my tent with the Ionboard running at full blast is 82 degrees. That's not to say the driver doesn't get hot, but the overall tent temperature is perfect. The S33 model is stellar for my 3x3. I used to have to pull about 700w from the wall of LED lights to cover the entire tent area, now I'm only using 240w. The light dispersion the Ionboard is incredible. Almost every leaf is covered. I know I've only had this light for a few days, so it's more of a first impression review, but I just felt people should know how well the Ionboard keeps my tent cool.
