Works good, no issues. Wireless remote works well for me. Runs quiet without clacking and klunking. Update 10-2-2025 Winch gave a loud pop and stopped pulling. It's no longer working, Only pulled 350 lbs probably less than 6 times. So, I've been on chatt with amazon 3 times and have not resolved the problem. False advertising on cable length. The 2500 pound winch advertises a 50 foot cable length in both the description and images. It is actually barely 34 feet. That makes a huge difference in what I needed it for. The winch itself seems to work, other than the fact that it drains 10% of the 12V battery each time it is used even once. That aspect will still work for me, but there is no excuse for getting the basic dimensions wrong. I bought this specifically because of the cable length.

If you are looking for a cheap winch that may or may not work, this is the one. Used it on a custom kayak trailer. Got it installed and the wireless remote function does not work. You could say it's my fault for not checking it before the install. They are going to send me a replacement one. But, now I have to spend more money on Anderson plug contactors. Just an all around disappointment.

Absolute garbage. Worked 1 time. We installed it, mounted our snow plow. Raised the snow plow, parked the 4 wheeler. Next day, battery in 4 wheeler dead. Hook battery charger up, winch motor humming. Controls are stuck at winch IN.

I'm revising my review to negative stars if they were available. The remote stuck on the in mode. It wound itself up into the spool and destroyed everything in its path. I had to make emergency cut on the cable to keep it from catching fire with fencing pliers. I'm giving 3 Stars for now. I'm just getting the winch mounted. The wiring instructions are for a different model winch and inaccurate for the winch. The mounting bolts are far to short. They only catch by 3-4 threads.

Just about burned down my RZR. For some reason I don't quite understand the remote just turned on and winched in and the motor started smoking after I had it hooked up and working for a month.

The gear reduction design allows the winch to extend back out anytime there is weight on the hook. The unit retracts without any issues but as soon as the retract button is released the winch allows the load to come back down. Really bad design on the gear reduction. It's the 1st winch I have ever had to where the load over powers the gear reduction and spins the motor. I can't think of anything I could use this winch for. I'm really sorry I purchased it. I should have spent a little more money and purchased a warn.
