I had to fabricate a plate to mount on my Honda Foreman and there needs to be a cut off switch installed to disconnect power when not in use as it connects directly to the Battery for power. Hard wired remote control is a little short for my machine as well.

I am very disappointed because the winch stopped working a month after 1 installed it for no apparent reason. Unable to return it for a refund after 30 days….. after sending videos and photos showing that water had got into the remote the seller suggested I share the cost of a replacement even though nowhere does the description or instructions warn that the Remote IS NOT WATERPROOF .
