I ordered this rod for almost 300 for a Christmas present. He has used it 3 times and the reel is messed up. The gears catch constantly. There is no way for me to get help or contact seller. Im extremely dissapointed.

Heavy duty combo. I have been using this combo for top water frogs 5-6 days/week over 4 mos now and I recommend it. I am NOT gentle with it, I fish in the reeds constantly beating it up and it doesnt fail. I would easily give it 5 stars except the drag does not feel l or perform like it is 20lbs. This combo is exactly what I expected from an always superior Abu Garcia product. Be aware, that the heavy action rod throws a little different from the medium action rods I normally throw. I absolutely love this combo!
