was NOT 54 inches tall. disappointed. i received bent and missing parts. the cage won’t lock unless there’s weight inside, so i can’t keep it closed. there is a HUGE gap under the cage which could have been used for a taller cage. the cap between the rods is big, a small dog could easily get out thru them. my 85 lbs dog weighs the inside down.. definitely isn’t sturdy. would not recommend to anyone.

Wasn't hard to put together with my son. Took us maybe 30 minutes. Cage is definitely sturdy once it's together and is big enough for my 2 boys. I got the 48" and love the divider to keep them separate and give them some needed space. Compared to my old wire cage and seeing how expensive other cages are this seems like a great value! I threw a chew proof pillow in each side so my boys are comfortable when they are in their crate. The other nice thing is I have extra screws just in case they are ever needed.

The cage is sturdy, has a divider, however does not go all the way to the top and puppy can climb over the top defeating the purpose of the divider. They in the front and the sides of the cage are 2 1/2 inches wide, which allows the puppies to stick their noses through and chew up anything that they can get their snout on the sides of the cage needs to be smaller so that they do not and cannot Chew on the outside of the cage. The bottom trays are real close to the bottom of the cage, which allows the puppies to tear up any puppy pads that might be close enough for them to also pull through the cage and chew up. Hopefully, this will change once the puppies are old enough, and I’m not able to climb Over the divider, true my walls and furniture from the sides of the cage and unable to get to the pee pads, puppy pads underneath other than that, I really like the design I like the ease of it I like the concept.

I bought these because I've had my wire crates for years and I wanted something that stacked better. These are HEAVY in the box. Make sure you have a dolly or someone else to help lift them. Once you unbox them, they are fairly simple to put together. I recommend having someone help you when putting the ones on the top. It can be done with one person. The bars are not met for small dogs. You can easily put your arm through them. I have a couple 8 week old puppies and they enjoy running in and out of the bars especially during feeding time when the adults are getting fed. Things I would recommend would be that the trays have more grip to them. They are very smooth, I wonder how long they will last. Some of the latches(locks), seem really tight, or don't line up the greatest. I would also recommend better wheel locks be added and to all 4 wheels, not just the front ones.

I wanted to love this cage but I can't say that I love it. I like it well enough however buyer beware the bars are very far apart and small dogs will not be able to be kept in this. The locks on the doors also are not of the best quality. If you're looking for a medium sized dog crate this will work just fine. The catchments underneath each cage are two pieces and they do not fit in snug. All in all it's usable but I do not recommend.

I was told this would be fine for my Shih Tzu’s and it is not the bars are far too wide apart, and one of my dogs got her head, stuck and panicked and when she pulled her head out, it scraped up both sides for head and her neck was bruised and bloody. When I asked to return it, I was told it was 13 days outside of the return window and all they told me to do is line it with mesh wire.. The bars are far too apart for any dog to be safe on the side and on the bottom Paws fall through plus the trays below are so thin and flimsy that they bend even empty let alone with any feces or urine in them.. I would not recommend anyone by these kennels at all. The only dog that might have a head big enough not to get stuck would be a great Dane at Saint Bernard or great Pyrenees and the kennels are far too small for one of those dogs. It won’t let me give it zero stars..

Good overall, but the floor really isn't designed to support 2 growing labs, especially when they get rowdy while cooped up. Ended up buying 14 hose clamps to help support/secure the floor to the frame - 5 on each side and 2 on each end. Also bought a 2' x 4' sheet of plywood, on which I placed a thin foam pad, covered with a canvas overwrap. That helps distribute the weight more evenly across the floor. If your dog's not a chewer (on the pad cover), that should work. Works fine otherwise.
