  • Heavy duty
Color: Gray
These look to be a heavy duty set of water weight bags. The material is very heavy duty and is assembled with heat welded seams. These are designed not to leak, at all. The handles are also very solid. These easily Velcro to your tent legs to keep them planted on the ground. These are easy to fill with the wide caps. A nice touch is the rubber flap inside the cap. Once the bag is filled with water (or in my case for my pictures, air) the rubber flap is pressed back against the bottom of the threaded cap assembly. This keeps water from pouring out before you put the cap on. Anyone that has used water bags knows how helpful this is. The rubber flap seals tightly. If you were to hold the bag upside down with water inside, it won’t leak out. To remove the water you need to press the yellow button underneath the cap, you can see it in my picture. This will hold the flap open so you can empty the bag for storage. These are nicer than the weight plates in my opinion. They are easy to carry, store, and transport. If you want a little extra hold you can use these in conjunction with anchoring stakes. I haven’t used mine yet since it is the middle of winter in the northeast. ... show more

  • A “must have” for windy locations
Color: Gray
We live near the beach and it is almost always breezy here (you don’t have to be on the beach to have a strong and steady sea breeze). So if you want to put up a pop-up shade tent (whether at the beach or even in our yard) something is needed to hold it in place. This set of 4 water bags are a perfect solution. They can be transported empty making them light weight and easy to carry. Once filled with water (plenty of that at the beach) they each weigh about 20 pounds. They have a sturdy handle on top making them relatively easy to carry from the water source to the tent location. And the 3 Velcro type attachment loops hold firmly onto the tent legs to prevent it from being blown away. Then when ready to “break camp” the valve on top can be unscrewed and be drained of their contents making them easy to carry and store away until they are next needed. The material seems tough enough to last through the uses of many years. ... show more

  • Very Heavy Duty Water Bags
Color: blue
There is nothing super glamorous about water canopy weights, but I was really impressed with the material. These10 liter bags are very substantial and will easily hold my umbrella or tent from moving. I could feel how sturdy the grip handle on the top was when I picked it up. The velcro straps strap onto the umbrella very nicely and will not give or pull off. It has a water injection nozzle port that makes it very easy to fill up. It also has a specially designed flap that stops water leaking, as well as having a screw on top that goes over it. The bags fold down flat when I'm not using them so storing them is easy. I had bought some sandbags to take with me when I go camping, it's just sometimes sand is not always available where I am going and I do not want to have to bring my own sand if there is none and be adding all that weight of sand in my car. These water bags make it very convenient because water is normally always available when I go camping. I highly recommend these water bags! ... show more

  • Excellent added peace of mind for canopies and backyard features!
Color: blue
These water bags are super easy to use and are designed specifically for things like canopies and other items with "legs." simply unscrew the top and fill them with water. Each has a set of three Velcro straps to be wrapped around a leg. Each comes out to a little over 20 pounds when filled, giving you an added 80+ pounds of added stability, distributed evenly across all four legs of the yard feature you're trying to hold down. Keep in mind, for a canopy, that's not going to hold it in place in a strong windstorm. Winds of about 45mph can move a 100lb person around, though they wouldn't knock them down. A canopy is essentially a big KITE, so even with these, your canopy is likely to take a tumble in a thunderstorm, since average wind speeds in MILD thunderstorms are between 22 and 55mph, with gusts ups to 57. Moderate storms can get gusts up to 75, and severe storms higher than that. In other words, do not rely on these for keeping your canopy in place year-round. In normal conditions, though, even on breezy days, these will be a big help. Great to take on camping trips (if there is a water source), for backyard BBQs, and so on. Very effective and they feel sturdy. About the only spot I worry about is where the Velcro straps meet the bags. I feel like that's the first place they'll tear. ... show more

  • Good weight bags
Color: black
These bags are heavy duty. They stand up on their own when full and weigh about 20 lbs. There is a flap valve in the fill area that prevents the water from spilling out if the bag is tipped before the cap is on. There is a small lever you push down to force this valve open to drain. There are 3 velcro straps that are strong but I would prefer a cinch strap. There is a handle on top of the bag that we actually use to tie down the tent with a line going from the handle up to the top of the tent pole in addition to the velcro which ties the bag to the pole. ... show more

  • No more flying tent!
Color: blue
These canopy weights feel very sturdy and resistant. I no longer have to worry about chasing down my canopy with these weights that I can fill up with water! These are even more convenient than sand bags as you can dispose of the water anywhere and not have to carry all that weight with you if you take your tents to the park or at home theres always somewhere you can fill them up with water. The spout is big so you can even place your garden hose inside and emptying is a breeze. ... show more

  • Better Than Sand
Color: black
This is my favorite system to weigh objects down. I have them for a canopy and these are just as good for light boxes etc. It is very compact and easy to fill up plus empty out when done. They weigh a lot when filled and nothing when empty. Compared to sandbags you may pour water on your plants and store these away when not in use. Their flexibility place these above sandbags especially when on location and water is available. Thank you for taking the time to read my review and photos of this product. I hope it has been helpful in providing you with more information. ... show more
