As someone who never assembles furniture and leaves that task to my husband or dad, it was pretty easy to put together for the most part. The majority of it is put together using a provided Allen wrench. The back part of the four chairs however, required a screwdriver according to the instructions. I was unable to finish it in my own as there are no pre made holes for the screws and a screwdriver simply wouldn’t work. It required a power tool. That being said, the other parts I put together only took about 45 minutes. It appears to be relatively sturdy, but the laminate costing on te seats and table is poor quality and already peeling off and we haven’t even used the table yet so that is disappointing.

We ordered this table to put in the breakfast area. It was not difficult to assemble but right away, one of the chairs had an issue. It wouldn't hold the screw on the seat back. I had to reposition it and drill a new hole. We have had it for a little over 3 months now and that chair completely fell apart. It cannot be repaired and had to be thrown out. The chairs, all of them, have become wobbly when we sit on them. The table itself is solid and has held up well, just not the chairs. For what I spent I didn't expect it to last more than 2 years before needing to be replaced but the chairs probably all need to be replaced a little over 3 months in.

First things first. This table is smaller than I expected. There is room for four people to have their dinner and drinks, but NOT enough room to put bowls on the table for people to serve themselves. We rarely have dinner guests, so that’s not a big deal, but I felt like you should know, in case it’s a big deal to you. That being said, it’s a really nice looking table, and works perfectly in the space we have. Also, my husband and I aren’t small people, and we feel like the chairs are pretty sturdy. This would be a perfect set if there were about 5 more inches all around to work with.

This is a really cute but small table which is the perfect size for my apt. I placed cushions on the chairs for height and more comfort. I gave it 4 stars bc the packing was a bit mediocre which caused the table to arrive with a few scratches and dents. However, for such a low price I wasn’t going to go through the hassle of sending it back. Item is also true to color and arrived very quickly which made me very happy.

This set should be selling for $100. not $200. It's not wood like they make it appear in their photos. It's really just an over sized sticker printed to look like wood. It's TINY. It's really a two person table, maybe three. But four people? No way. The chair seats are completely flat and uncomfortable. The holes in the beat bottoms didn't line up with the metal frames very well. The metal frames themselves are basically sheet metal and my 8yo could weld better even though he's never picked up a welder. I feel like it's going to fall apart every time I sit at it. I was in a bind and needed something, but I wouldn't recommend this set to anyone.

This is a great table and chair set. I ordered this after many hours of research to find a dining set for my 400 sq. ft. studio house. Reluctant to order and assemble anything, I ordered only after exhausting all other options. It is fantastic. A friend with a power drill assembled everything in about 90 minutes. It is sturdy and looks great. It takes up minimal space due to the rectangular shape of the table and the fact that all 4 chairs slide completely under the table at the same time. I'm really happy with this set.

Overall I’m ok with the set but it was pretty disappointing to see scratches on the metal pieces. Also, the laminate on the seat and back to the chairs are bubbly on the edges as if they weren’t properly sized and glued.
