I have used this for 6 months. I apply it 10 minutes after using 10% glycolic acid serum. And apply rosehip seed oil 5 mins after retinol has dried. Started with the .75% and then purchased the 1%. I use it every night and have had no side effects whatsoever. My skin has gotten very smooth and I feel fine lines have gotten much softer. I recently ran out and started using another product. After about 2 weeks however, I really noticed a decline in my skin appearance. It also got much greasier. Never quite realised how much this product was complimenting my skin till I stopped using it. Tonight I have ordered myself 2 bottles as I have no intention of running out again. This product rocks. I am a 58 year young lady who feels even younger when I look in the mirror after applying retriderm max. Oh I also use this under my eyes and on the corner of my lids to help with droopy eyes and it works instantly. Also for firming the turkey neck works great. Hope it works for you as it does me

I used this Serum every night for 2 weeks when I noticed my face was staying red & irritated. I skipped 3 nights & just used moisturizer. My skin returned to normal & I started using it again. My skin is fine this time & I continue to use it every night. I am happy with the results. My skin is looking firmer, more radiant & smoother, so don't give up if at first your skin becomes irritated. Your skin has to adjust to it.

I very disappointed. Since I first wrote this review. The price of this products has tripled!!! Making it impossible to purchase again! This a wonderful product, I used that headline just to warn you not to start out using this Retinol for your first time ever... Do not use this Retinol without first using Retriderm Plus 0.5%! This products works so well that you have to start using it gradually. I originally bought the Retriderm Plus 0.5% at my dermatologist office the cost was somewhere a little over $80. While I love this product, I decided to look for an alternative just to save money. To my surprise I found the Retriderm on Amazon for $20+ less! The packaging & everything is the same as the one I bought at my dermatologist office. Its definitely the legitimate product. But please do not start out using the 1.0% you will definitely have some peeling or worse. My doctor had me gradually start the 0.5%. I was told to use it on alternate days & then slowly work into using it every day. Then when your just about finished with the 0.5% the doctor told me to start 0.75% on alternate days from the 0.5% until eventually you are only using the 0.75%. I have since finished the 0.75% & now I'm using the 1.0%. I have no pictures but I do get a lot of compliments from co-workers & family that my face looks great & seems to improve weekly. My face has a more even skin tone & also my acne scars don't seem to be as deep as they once were.

I started out with this milder retinol, and probably a good thing as I have a little pink to my skin. I have received compliments from my friends about my skin lately, so I think it is doing exactly what it should be.

I have very sensitive skin that is prone to breakout. (I tried to use Oil Olay at night and it caused an almost immediate breakout.) After a chemical peel, I began using the 1% serum and I love the results. You do need to start slowly and allow your skin to adjust. I also went through a "purge" of the nastiness in my pores that lasted a few weeks. However, now that has passed, my skin looks and feels wonderful. I use one pump every night and follow it up with Cerve night cream. One bottle has lasted 3 months and counting.

My 56-year-old skin has less fine wrinkles, less breakouts and is more even in tone. I still have a couple of faint dark spots, but otherwise, my skin is clear. My skin took about 5 weeks to get used to this product and was red and peeling until then. I just use it at night and wear moisturizer and sunscreen during the day. This product has done more for my complexion than any other one product I have used.

This stuff is great if you don't want the prescription strength stuff from your dermatologist, which is too strong for me. I'm not sure why people gave it a bad review because it dried/flaked their skin...that's what retinol does. Start out every other day and cut back if you need to until your skin gets used to it. It's not heavy or weight-y on my skin. I'm on my second bottle and I do see results.
