I bought this abdominal binder after hearing it could help with symptoms related to blood pooling and bloating and wanted to see if it made a difference for me. While wearing it, I did feel more supported through my core and noticed I felt more stable and less uncomfortable throughout the day. The level of support is very adjustable, and it’s easy to tighten or loosen depending on how much compression you want. It provides a noticeable amount of support without feeling overly restrictive. One thing I specifically looked for was a binder without rigid ribs, and this one does not have any built-in ribbing. It holds its shape well while still staying comfortable and flexible, which made a big difference for me. The material is soft and breathable, and I was able to wear it all day without overheating. I wore it both sitting at a desk and while standing or walking, and it stayed in place well without rolling. The Velcro is very strong and secure, but unlike some other binders I’ve tried, it doesn’t snag or damage the fabric. It’s also very easy to put on and adjust on your own. Sizing felt accurate based on the chart, and even though it looks like it might be bulky, it was surprisingly easy to wear under clothing without being too noticeable. I purchased this to help with a spinal and abdominal injury. I have a blown disc inside of a previous lumbar fusion and shifting vertebrae above and below the fusion that I’ve been dealing with for over a year. I recently aggravated it more and did something to anger my groin and pelvic muscles on top of it. I am SO glad that I read all of the reviews on the different binders and ordered this one. I might order another one so that I can Have compression higher too. Pros: It seems true to size. The binder is sturdy and well made. It offers good compression especially with the extra straps. The Velcro is very strong. I’m short waisted, I’m wearing it lower on my hips and it comes up to the bottom of my ribs in front. The extra straps allow for adjustability of pressure which is really helpful for multiple areas of support. It helps my posture when sitting and is fairly comfortable. Cons: It’s too bulky and the fabric is too coarse for me to wear under clothes. The initial stretch of the band is really tight and takes some effort to get on tightly. The Velcro is so strong in front that it can be difficult to get smooth and tight without laying down if one has weak or arthritic hands. It rolls over in back when sitting if wearing it lower. This product was an absolute lifesaver for me. I had emergency gallbladder surgery that then turned into another procedure and once I was home I couldn't find any comfort way to lay or sit until I found this binder. The allows pressure to stay consistent on the surgery areas and makes it much easier to move with everything being held sturdy. The main material is soft and doesn't irritate my incisions even without a shirt in-between and the velcro on this is super, super strong. This works just as fine if not better and even my nurses and doctors asked me where I got it and said it is of good quality and function. I very recently had major abdominal surgery so I have to wear these horrible things for the next 6 weeks. And no, I did not get a tummy tuck. I wish! Lol. Anyway, some of them come in a bunch of different parts which is cumbersome and this one is all one piece. But, it has these straps on the sides that can overlap in different ways to make it tighter and a better fit. It's a little longer than some of the others too which I really appreciate being 5'10 and having a longer torso. Because, it's really important for this thing to go all the way down and cover the pelvic area of my belly as well. I also rather enjoy the color deviation from black. I'm so glad that it's like a rich gray and not like bright red or pink. It's a nice switch up and it's still neutral enough to wear under things. It's definitely one of the more comfortable units I've tried on. I was actually able to lay down in it and not be miserable and that's saying something. It's comfortable and I felt very supported wearing it for several hours. The price is reasonable and the velcro absolutely holds in place. This is just much easier to get on than many others I've tried. It's slightly bulky but that's a necessary evil of you want it to do it's job. It stops wittles the waist of you put it on correctly. Worked great after my gallbladder removal surgery in April. Easy to use, decent quality, great price. Sturdy and helped a ton after my surgery. I like this design with the added wraparound straps were amazing. They definitely made a huge difference. WOW! This binder is amazing. It is supportive, helps posture, but not so stiff that it hurts like some others I’ve tried. I had a FDL tummy tuck a few weeks ago and this thing is a lifesaver. It doesn’t have boning, but it’s very structured and the Velcro is strong. Thanks to the no boning, it doesn’t give me the weird back roll that some of the stiffer ones do.
