This is a great compression belt. I was slightly worried when the box said it covered plus sizes because I was pretty sure I ordered a Medium. It's the right size; it's just saying this thing is very stretchy. It gives a good strong hug, though, and you can easily adjust the velcro straps to give yourself the support you need. I mostly wanted this for posture support and it's surprisingly effective! I had a hard time wearing the kind of posture support that is worn as a vest because of my curves. I can keep this on and feel the support without feeling particularly constricted or uncomfortable. I don't agree eith the claim that you could wear this under clothes for a slimming effect. It's not a corset, but it will push your fat up over the top and create less than desirable bulges. More noticeably, though, are the two strong sets of velcro stitched into this belt. It adds dimension, it doesn't leave you looking slimmer. If you want/need support following birth, surgery, or while living with a hernia I'm sure you could wear it under a button down shirt without it being very noticeable, but I can't actually button my jeans if I have this on. I prefer to wear this at home in the evenings to discourage slouching and overeating. A corset would help with those same issues, but who wants to bother with all those hooks and laces for an evening home alone? This velcro compression belt does just what I need it to and goes on or off in 2 seconds. Whatever your reasons are for wanting to compress and support the middle of your body, this is a good affordable belt to start with. My only mild complaint is that it has a weird smell right out of the box. The box states you should wash the belt before using, but aside from saying to use cold water it does not offer any washing instructions so I don't know if it can be put in the machine or not. Because of all the velcro I'm guessing it's not the best idea, but if you try it make sure to put it in a garment bag so it doesn't snag everything else in your load. Definitely keep it out of the dryer. Because of needing to let it air dry, I'm thinking about buying a second belt so I can always have a clean one to wear.

Very comfortable to wear and work around the house. It stretches and bends with every move while still giving you the support you need. The Velcro holds firm and allows you to choose the amount of support you are looking for in a waist belt. For sizing, in my case, a large worked well and I have a 44-inch mid-section. The material and workmanship of the product is very good. This product should have no problems meeting your needs.

It fits perfectly. It’s comfortable and giving great support. The boning in the back also help with support of the binder and myself, while still being a flexible product. It’s even helping with my posture. I bought this for a hernia and for an upcoming bilateral oophorectomy and hysterectomy.
