    • I put it up all by myself!
I'm a middle aged woman with back problems, yet I managed to put this up by myself. It was a bit hard on me, but what isn't these days? It took a bit longer than I planned for, but I'm pretty darn proud of myself. The instructions are ... maybe a bit too simplistic for the actual job ... but I managed to read between the lines a bit and figure it out. It was kind of fun! Some bits of advice on your initial set up: 1) Both the canopy and the screen are attached from the outside of the tent, that is why they want you to unzip the two entrances. 2) Once the screens are unzipped, the joining areas will be positioned at the top of the tent. 3) Fold the canopy top back about an inch to give you room to attach the screen panels, and then fold it back over the screen to make it effective at keeping the mosquitoes at bay. 4) It pools a tiny bit on the bottom of the screen. This is to allow you to seal the bottom of the screen. Also, it doesn't look like you need to disassemble the canopy and screen when you put it away, which would be good. I haven't tried this because I am using it as a temporary shelter (one side fully open) and mini hay barn for four spoiled goats while I get some other work done around here. They love it by the way. I will probably get some canvas sides for it at some point, but for now the screening is quite suitable and is doing a fine job. The (goat) kids and I love it. Nice canopy tent, especially coming with the mesh walls. I got this to replace a pop-up canopy tent used frequently for putting over picnic tables in campgrounds: a gust of wind folded that canopy up in a strange new way. I hope ABCCANOPY will stock replacement parts for this tent like they do for their commercial tents. The size of the holes in the mesh lets in the breeze and rain, but also smaller insects like mosquitoes and gnats. I wanted mesh sidewalls precisely to keep out biting insects and this won't do that. It will slow them down, not keep them out. The mesh panels do not have flaps out the bottom to better seal that opening. One person can set this canopy up: it is far easier and quicker with two. With one person, you have to walk around and drag apart the corners, then step under and push up the center. Attaching the two side panels requires hooking up 24 Velcro straps. Getting this put away quickly if the wind starts gusting is not happening with the side panels installed. Good thing there are sand bags and stakes to help the tent stay in one place. The provided stakes are the most basic straight pin with a bent end. Hard on the fingers pushing in and pulling out. Given the surface area for the wind to hit, I invested in some beefier stakes. Having a side pocket with a cover flap on the wheeled bag is a nice touch that my old canopy bag lacked. Handy place to keep the instructions and stakes. The wheels are fine for smooth surfaces but haven't helped at campgrounds. Not sure if I wish they weren't there in order to save a little on weight and length of the bag. Make a bigger knot in the guy lines: the original knot was almost pulled through the tensioner. There is a 12x12 version of this canopy tent. That would be a better fit over campground picnic tables. For the price, if you know what you are getting, this is a good canopy tent with mesh sidewalls. ... show more

Carry and go. We take it to our camping trips. Easy to install. Love that it’s screened in. It’s more like to have a couple of chairs. Not for big furniture.

This is a decent canopy that offers some protection from insects. It has 2 openings on opposite ends, making it easily accessible to all while using it! You will need some kind of weight to keep this secured. It came with stakes but I found those to not be enough to keep mine secured. The bug netting does not go all the way to the ground, just a warning if you are wanting that. ... show more

    • So Easy To Set Up!
This is a nice little pop up canopy tent! My daughter and I had the box opened and the tent up in less than 10 minutes tops lol. Maybe it helps because we've had several over the years and they all pretty much go up the exact same way but it's a breeze to get it up! It seems durable (as durable as these can be anyway) and well made. No strings or rips or anything. We use these for about everything! For shade for watching the kiddos play out back. For yard sales. I've had grandkids set up kool-aide stands under them. For parties, reunions, picnics, etc. My daugher sets one of these up at our local farmers market every month during the season, with her art work on display and for sale under it. The uses for these are about endless! I feel this particular one is well made and on par with others in it's class, price wise. I highly recommend!! ... show more
