I had to return mine because it was missing the third part to one of the legs so we could not fully extend it, but something didn't seem right with that leg and one part kept falling off. I initially contacted the company for the replacement part but they wanted a lot of information like pictures of part numbers circled on the instructions, and I didn't feel confident I would be able to get the part in right so I decided to return it since I was still under the return window. The box was taped up multiple times so I couldn't help be suspicious if it had been returned before. Also, I was kind of shocked at how heavy it was. I had not thought to check the weight on it cause it shows people carrying it with the backpack carrying case--it does have wheels which is a huge plus, because it's pretty heavy, but my 14 year old grandson managed to carry it--but only if I lifted it on his back lol. I didn't get to set it up enough to know how sturdy it was in the long run, but seemed well made. I liked the added piece on the one side for extra sun and wind block, which was one of the 2 reasons I bought it. (the other being I thought it would be more portable than it is)

This tent is great. We bought it for our July 4th cookout to put on the back deck. It was great for providing shade for everyone, in the little time frame we had to get something to cover the deck. Very easy to put up as well, I do recommend a second set of hands though. Since then, it has held through all the thunderstorms we had this year. However, it was sadly destroyed at the beginning of this month. The tent could not hold through the surprise tornado we had lol.

Purchased this as a vendor for shows and didn’t realize that it is a leaning canopy— the legs splay out exceeding the usual 10x10 allotted area. Also it didn’t extend as tall as I wanted and was a bit lightweight in the frame. So, hopefully this helps someone. Overall, value was fair for the canopy.

I loved this thing. I was always asked where I got it and how much it cost me. People were always impressed, as was I. It brought a new ambiance to my 2nd floor rooftop patio. Size was correct (10x10, I see other reviews where the smaller one is inaccurate), easy to assemble. Some of the Velcro didn't line up perfect, but it didn't affect much. Never had an issue with water leakage. So not being able to stake this in, I relied on the sand bags. I will say most of these split at the seams in a short amount of time, so next time around I would reinforce the sand inside with a plastic bag. I also knew the risk of any wind, so I would stalk the weather and simply remove the roof any time the wind would be more than 11-12mph. Constant success, great deal, couldn't be happier. *HOWEVER* One time, ONE TIME!....the wind got the best of me. I stalked the weather app up to the end of the day, which is 6am. Felt good about it. Didn't feel the need to look at the following day yet, therefore didn't know there was a huge front coming in at 7-8, and woke up to a slightly mangled canopy with 2 broken legs. (I really was just happy to find it hadn't taken off to reign terror on the street below.) I duct taped the 2 bent legs to keep it standing properly, and it held up the rest of the season. However, when I went to collapse it in the fall, it would not budge. It could have been due to the duct tape, but visually it didn't seem to be affecting anything. Eventually we had to break it into pieces to get it off of my patio. Also, if it matters, the sun will fade it over time....but that is to be expected in constant direct sun. All of this said, I still want to buy another, and keep checking to see if it's back in stock. You have to know the weather conditions you're up against with anything like this and your environment - it's portable, it's like holding a giant umbrella in wind. Calm down with these overly criticizing reviews! Update: The following year I purchased the same brand, same size canopy - just the version without the netting, as I still had mine from the first one I bought. It definitely did not line up as well on the legs, which ended up tearing some of the Velcro ties irreparably. These legs seemed to angle out further than the first one that came with the netting, which I found kind of odd. But with no structural damage at the end of the season, it collapsed beautifully for me doing it alone. This time around I also used half cinder blocks to secure the legs instead of sand bags, which worked much better with wind. I didn't have to start worrying until wind was to exceed around 20mph.

I bought this so my wife and I could eat on our back patio without getting bothered by the flies. I paid <$100 for this tent, I see it is now priced at ~$150. I would not pay that much. My biggest complaint is it's a job to assemble it. The description states that it's easy for one person to assemble in less than a minute ("...enables ONE PERSON to easily open and close the canopy in ONE MINUTE without any hassle"). I found that statement to be untrue. I could not assemble this by myself and I am a healthy, reasonably strong 6' male. The challenge is getting the last 1-2" of extension so the clamps on the legs lock into place. That's when I needed my wife's help to support the roof of the tent to take pressure off the clamps that slide up and down on the legs. Because it's not easy to assemble it became a pain because we did not want to leave it up during a thunderstorm with wind gusts or when we left town for a week. It just became a hassle. Last night a strong wind came up and took me by surprise. It lifted the tent and bent one of the legs. When I tried to straighten it, it snapped off. However, I will say when it was assembled on a sunny day it did provide good shade and protection from the bugs. If we could have just left it assembled all the time it would have worked fine. I'll try to find a replacement leg as it's square tubing so perhaps I can fix it.

If you thought about getting ABC Canopy tent but opted in for a wall instead of no walls, it will come in an ugly blue bag. It does show in the carousel of photos and it is my fault for purchasing, but I came from the ABC Canopy of no walls and I liked the black bag there. I’m returning this now. If it doesn't bother you, then by all means, but just make sure you know you aren't getting a black bag. Although the bag material is great and sturdy, it only opens on the end and doesn't zip down all the way to the other side. I’ll give this 4 stars.
