Could be a little heavier metal. It had a couple of dents when it arrived. when assembled they are not visible. No missing pieces. Roof connectors are plastic wish they were metal. Went up very easily in about 2 1/2 hours by myself. It is located in the yard so I put T post in the corners after I painted them black and zip tied them to the frame. They are not visible with the netting on. Holding up very well.

Really like this replacement gazebo. Larger size provides added room for my hot. Isn't jammed right up against the lid. Only problem is the placement of roof grommets for drainage of water. Still collects water and causes the roof to sag.

On the rare occasion I've written reviews, I have mainly written POSITIVE ones. But THIS?! If I can save another person from WASTING $300, then this will have been worth my time. My husband and I had a previous gazebo, which we loved. It held up for 3 years but then started to sag in 2 areas from rain, over time. Well, this year we decided to get a new one. Unfortunately, we could no longer find that model, so we opted for THIS one. And we're sorry we did. The only reason I gave it 1 star is because it's a nice color and has an inside hook in the center to hang chimes or a plant. The quality (or LACK of) of this thing is horrible. First of all, the corner pieces don't even fit together evenly. And my husband is a stickler for making things fit and work properly. So he added an extra brace (with pieces from our old one) to the corners. But the WORST thing about this gazebo is...after the VERY FIRST rain, it was already sagging in 2 spots. We've had it less than 2 MONTHS!!! And now THREE sides are sagging! The water pools in there, and we have to push it up from underneath when the rain stops, and then all that water comes splashing down. No matter how taut we pull it, it just keeps sagging. I'm not a negative person, but I am beyond disappointed with this purchase. We'll be lucky if it lasts through the summer. Live and learn. And BUYER BEWARE!

The media could not be loaded. After 500 reviews and months of searching I finally bought this one after I read the review of a female senior did it herself in 3 hrs. Wellll we laughed and laughed when 3 seniors did it in 3 hours. But one was drunk, one took 10 breaks to go stir the sauce and the other one me stared at the picture directions 😂 ok… only issue was the 2 round pieces that create the roof. My suggestion is put J and K on the ground and put roof pieces in… Attach small roof canvas and large decorative piece that screws to top (learned that lesson the hard way) then add extensions to meet the corners. Thats where the extra sober person comes in handy. The drunk person gave up so call in the senior stirring the sauce 👍 last trick, the curtains go on the outside of the frame. Unzip 1 section and lay it all around the outside. Start attaching hooks. There are 8 that are different, they go near the zippers I have had this same style before made by Sunjoy. After 6 years I decided to leave the top on over the winter and needless to say it will not hold snow. Remove the top every winter and it will last forever. Although no matter what every 2/3 years I did have to replace the canvas. Thats why I couldn’t decide to buy it again. I was going to get a hard top but the price is 5x more. Done ! It looks great and sturdy ! The other reviews that show a “problem “ means they did something “wrong “. If something is difficult to put together, it doesn’t belong there. Very simple if your doing it right 👍 I had this same style for 6 years and it would have lasted 12 if I had removed the top before the snow came but I was too lazy that winter. The only reason I can see it falling down or blowing away is not secured properly.

We only had this product up for about 3 weeks when we unfortunately had a neighbor's tree fall on it. This canopy took the brunt and saved our roof from major damage! For a mere $250, we now don't have thousands of dollars in roof repairs! This thing held up to straight line winds and only caved slightly when a large tree attacked it. Second one already ordered!!

Upon opening the box, it looks very overwhelming. I guess that was one peek though because once we started putting it together, it wasn't as bad as it looked. You will need a ladder. I feel like some of the directions were reversed as far as when to place certain parts of the canopy fabric. The down side....the corner piece shelves aren't even and they don't stay locked in place. We ended up having to put weight on them, just to keep them down. We had one rain fall and a few days later, we noticed all the corners and creases are already rusted. Our "b" and "c" post, not all the screw holes lined up. One of them was actually stripped before ever being installed so only 1 of the 2 holes were actually capable of being screwed in. I love the eye holes in the top. My husband said it was so water could drain. However after that one rain fall, in the center bottom of each side (where you Velcro the middle of each side to the post, still will hold water just because of how short/tight the Velcro has to be, to be connected. So if it rains, be aware, you still need to go out and get all the water off. I do enjoy the netting to keep bugs out, but unless it's anchored somehow, if it's even slightly breezy, those walls come in and attack you if you are sitting near a side lol It WILL take 4 people to move it. It's extremely flimsy and flips.
