This canopy is HEAVY. The instructions are not the greatest, but I figured it out. Videos online make it look so easy setting these up but I am not strong enough to push it up.     • The best party canopy we've ever had!

Taking the kit out of the box was a lot of fun. We inventoried the components to be sure we had all the right pieces. After finding the instruction sheet we set about erecting the canopy with four walls. We had two minor challenges. First, there are two vertical riser posts that must be inserted into the square holes in the center of each frame half. I'm not sure if they popped out or were packed that way. In either case, we figured out they belong in the square hole and proceeded with setup. The second challenge was getting the frame to extend to full size. The frame is heavier than others we have used and works best when there is a person on each corner to pull it into place. Once the corners were clicked into position, we added the walls that attach using velcro strips and then extended the legs to the height we wanted. The kit includes anchors, tie-downs and four bags that weight can be added to help hold the corners where they cannot be anchored. At the end of the day, it is recommended the canopy be taken down and stored in its travel case. It was very simple to reverse the process. We lowered the canopy legs to make removing the walls easier. We worked in two's to fold each wall and set it aside. We then removed the roof material and folded it. Finally, we collapsed the frame and set it into the roller bag and packed the fabric parts on top and then zipped it all up. The whole process took 15 minutes with four people. One extra note. The kit includes wheels for the roller bag that must be installed. A wrench tool is needed to complete this assembly. We installed the wheels as soon as we removed the kit from the shipping container. I was pleased with the heavy weight fabric used for the ceiling and walls.     • I’m hoping it’s worth the money

I purchased this tent (10x10 with window walls) after reading several great reviews. Upon receiving it, the walls seem a bit cheaper than expected, and it’s not tarp or true canvas… so I’m concerned about truly being waterproof. But time will tell. It’s also too heavy for one person to set up by yourself. Maybe a really fit individual could, but two people works best. We also got it about halfway and found it stuck… turns out the center hole for the top pole isn’t connected to the trusses, so they weren’t lining up in the center to automatically pop up when we pulled out the legs. So just watch for the alignment, knowing you’ll probably have to help it along. Windows look nice though. Banner loops are on the wrong side, at least not as indicated on the instructions. I’m hoping with light use and gentle care, I’ll get a while of use out of it. ... show more

We set this up for on our deck and bolted it down. It was pretty easy to set up with 2 people, once we watched a video on YouTube. The frame is very sturdy and withstood wind. The top is also pretty sturdy, though we did need to put pool noodles between the frame and canvas on the top to keep rain from pooling (we live in a rainy area). However, the walls are not reinforced where the Velcro and zippers are and they easily tear. No problem - I just thought I’d buy new ones. However ABC canopy doesn’t sell the door or church window walls separately. They sell the plain wall, but when we received them, they were even thinner and cheaply made and didn’t have Velcro on the top to connect to the canopy top. That puts even more pressure on the cheap and weak wall. We returned the replacement wall and will look for parts we can use somewhere else but it’s really disappointing that the manufacturer seems focused on making a product for short term use only. Why not build off your product line and make nice replacement walls? Such a shame. Update: I contacted ABC canopy directly several times. They offered to send me the walls I wanted with velcro horizontally at the top. I wanted church windows, which they couldn’t send. Then they told me the shipping cost: *$80*!!!!     • Very Impressive temporary structure that I highly recommend!

This tent is quite impressive! The rolling case is essential and appears that it will provide substantial storage prolonging the life of the canopy. The legs are well constructed, square, posts. Each one has 2 holes for tent spikes (provided). The top attached to each leg with extra strong Velcro that wrapped around each leg and was super easy to put on. Same with the sides of the tent. The material is bright white and is more like a tarp than nylon, which is very good. I guess I hadn't realized how big a 10' canopy would look, but it's big! Not in a bad way mind you. The windows are classy and will add to the feel of any special event. I'm actually using this as pool float storage during the summer (I placed a 10' x 10' white tarp down to keep floats clean.) Everything can be hosed off at once and the zipper closure will keep floats of all sizes (baby sized on up to 72" loveseat style) from blowing around the yard. I do have to say, there was no way I could have put this up alone. It.took 3 of us. Could have been user error and with more practice perhaps I'll be able to do it. Being 4'11" might have something to do with it. My 6'4" husband and 5'4" daughter were a huge help! The legs lock into place very securely and were tough to accomplish solo. One improvement I would suggest is to have small air vents at the very top of the pitch. The addition of small flaps over them could maintain the waterproof feature. I'm curious to see what will happen when larger than a normal gust of wind fills the tent. I hope there are no wicked witches around. ... show more
