The media could not be loaded. We recently had a Quest 10 x 10 Canopy that actually broke mid use because the frame metal bent and snapped while we were opening it. We use the canopy tent out on the beach to stay out of direct sunlight and actually keep it lowered on its first setting for maximum shade and privacy. I think it’s important to note that regardless of the height you lift the frame to, this ABC canopy provides 100sqft of shade. This is important because a lot of other 10 x 10 tents like our old Quest one only offer 64sqft of shaded space because while the frame base might be 10 x 10 the slant leg design reduces the amount of space and the canopy itself is not 10 x 10. The frame itself is extremely well made and sturdy. We love the large press buttons which make opening this frame a breeze. It was just the two of us and we had this tent up and secured within 5 minutes. The sand bag weights are an amazing bonus because they can be empty and weightless during transport but probably each hold about 20lbs of sand. With our old tent we had to lug around big heavy weights that cost about $40 in addition to the cost of the tent whereas these sand bag weights are included with the canopy. It also comes with stakes and tie downs so you have multiple ways to secure the tent. The canopy material is very thick and well made. The stitching is durable and the material is resilient. The optional (in the sense that you can choose not to open them) netted vents at the roof help create air flow inside the tent which is a really nice feature. Despite it being 100+ degree weather we felt very cool and comfortable. We love that the material has UPF protection and it wipes clean easily. It is heavy inside the bag but the weight is what gives the frame its sturdiness so it’s worth the hassle of transporting it. The wheels on the bag are not the best for pulling through sand. The back straps are more convenient but not exactly comfortable. Overall it’s a great value when you consider all the features and bonuses. ... show more

This canopy is A+ impressive. We've had it for two years now and it stays up in our backyard during the entire summer (in South Carolina). Our neighbors liked our idea so they set up their own canopy, but it was a different brand and collapsed in the wind within a week. The only time we've taken ours down is for the winter and once during a hurricane scare. Storms, winds, you name it - nothing is taking this thing down (when staked down). We don't even have the guy lines staked down, just the poles. After two years in the baking sun, it's probably about time to replace the canopy itself (the frame is still perfect), as it's gotten a little brittle, but we're going to wait until the end of the summer to do so. Also, pro tip when moving it with just two people - lower it to the lowest height and carry it by lifting the cross beams rather than awkwardly moving it leg by leg. Edit: almost three years in and we're about to buy a new canopy. The current one became so brittle it started ripping. The frame is still perfect, but unfortunately they don't sell replacement canopies for this model that I can find. That's still the only downside! If we didn't leave it up for about 8 months out of the year, I'm sure it would have lasted way longer. ... show more

I haven't been on a trip with this yet. But it seems very sturdy when set up. And I like that the tarp goes over and down the poles unlike other canopies. It comes with sand bags and a rolling bag. So this is one of the best canopies for the price you can get!

First night camping and of course it rained. Very easy setup and we placed it over the picnic table to play some board games while it rained. However, it started leaking at the four corners of the vent and down the seams. I have just reached out to the seller and abccanopy for support. I will update the review on how the support goes. Update 9/14: The seller and abccanopy were very responsive which I greatly appreciate. They did offer to replace the top and/or partial refund. They did point out that this is a sun shade and not a commercial grade canopy that prevents rain from seeping through. However, the description is very misleading: "WINDPROOF, WATERPROOF, UPF50+:300 Denier Polyester with PU lining,100% Waterproof and 50+UV protection". Buyer beware. As a sun shade canopy, it is easy to setup and performs as a sun shade as expected. If you want rain protection, look for a commercial grade canopy that has sealed seems. Upgraded to 4 stars as the seller and abccanopy were very responsive. ... show more

This is major fail. I chose ABCCANOPY popup canopy because it is rated number one for this year's line of canopies. The canopy we received looks just like the pictures. By myself I raised it and battened it down with all the velcro straps. Two and a half stars for ease of assembly. It was meant to stay up to give shade for our toddler to play outside. South Central Texas summer temperatures is an average 105°. Occasionally there is a gust of wind. We used the included metal stakes to keep the canopy from lifting off. This worked well until one afternoon, the canopy lifted, bent, popped its rivets, tore the nylon gussets, small rip in canopy, and a roof truss dislodged. We are so sad. Our toddler, and mommy, could have been injured if they happened to be out there during the gust of wind. The nylon gussets are not strong enough to withstand a gust of wind. It did shower once, and the canopy drained off very well. Thus one-half star for good drainage. Pictures of compromised gussets and rivets of our disfigured frame are included. ... show more
