    • WARNING Don’t Clip Your Dog to the Tent..
Please do not make the mistake we just made. We set up the tent for the first time at a nearby park. Once it was up, we clipped our little dog’s leash to one of the legs. It was not windy out whatsoever. A gust of wind came up, launching the tent in the air, along with our dog. She was in the air, with her leash caught on the tent. She was high up, and hanging by her neck. I could see she was panicked. Luckily there were two of us there. I grabbed a tent leg the while my 6’5” husband grabbed Sofie. She was very shaken up but she’s okay. It happened very quickly and it was terrifying. The tent itself seems great. We just had a terrible first time experience and hope everyone understands that YES you always need weights, even if it does not seem windy. ... show more

    • THIS IS REALLY EASY TO PUT UP AND PUT AWAY!
I am so impressed with the quality of this tent! I used it for an art fair for the first time and two people had it set up in less than five minutes! It kept the sun off of us for 7 hours as well.     • These are solid, stand the test-of-time, and maintainable
I have two of these, permanently located outside, where winter (no snow) storms lash at them. I have them reasonable well-secured (guyed down or ecured to adjacent trees, poles, fence), and the frames/canopies have withstood 90-mph winds on several occasions just this winter (2023). Have had to replace one cover so far that was 4 years old (& was a perfect fit), in constant exposure to the weather and summer sun. The side panels are nicely made, but don't seem to have the same strength of the tops and often last only a year (since they go in 'permanently', so I am using 'green' & silver tarps in place. I've used quite a few of the lower priced canopies over the years that don't have the center post that these frames have, and they often became damaged in storms with winds in the 40-50-mph range. For my needs, I will never go back to those. ... show more

This canopy is well made and the frame is solid. It raises pretty high. I would highly recommend getting 30lb sandbags to secure though as it is like a huge parachute and will get ruined without the support. Very quick amd easy to set up!

On a trip through Baja deserts/coast in May. Key is shade. Jeep Liberty stays cool all day. Temps in the 80's. Wind issue solved by tying the canopy to the Jeep. Carrying case lies flat between back of driver's seat and the rear gate. Snug fit but more than adequate and, like that, no wasted space.

This canopy is fantastic! It is not a cheap slapped together -will work for a few events before breaking product like you get at the big box stores. It has strong fabric, strong steel construction, and well-designed locking mechanisms. It is not as easy to set up as a 10x10 because it is twice as big but with that said I was able to fully assemble it in about 15 minutes in my backyard without ever reading directions or getting help. If you are small of stature or not at all mechanically inclined you may struggle but once you figure it out it is easy. As others have said it is quite heavy but then again it's large and well constructed so this kind of goes hand in hand. I read a review where they said you cannot fold it up with the cloth canopy attached to the frame but this is not true. It folded up just like any other and fit easily back into the bag with the canopy on it. You would need to remove the sidewalls however, but that has been the case with any canopy I have ever used. When you get it out of the box if you were to expand just a little bit and then crawl inside, you can put your hand below the middle roof support in lift up. The entire canopy will expand itself out. Leave it quite low so that you can put the center support pieces in place (these will stay in place moving forward, they collapse with the frame) and then drape the entire canopy over the frame. With the roof cover mostly in place you can then lift it again from the center roof support slightly jostling it and all six legs will lock into place most of the time. The legs that don't lock are easily done one at a time. If you cannot lift 80 lb or so you will likely not be able to do this (should go without saying but if it's too heavy for you, you can't put it together without help anyway. If you can manage the weight it's easy to do). One review says it's too heavy and you need help. If it is too heavy for you then this would be true. For many of us it is not true and at 5'8 with a non-muscular build I'm not a big guy. One review said you cannot fold it up with a canopy roof on it but this is not true. It folds together roof attached like others and easily fits into the bag. One review said it takes 30 minutes to an hour to put together. This would be true if you can't manage the weight or if you are not mechanically intelligent. It is a big heavy duty canopy well constructed at a price point commensurate with what you get. Like someone set up once, and packaged very well back up. To note when unpackaged: • The canopy was in the clear plastic bag and rolled up, then taped with masking tape. • The sides were packaged in the canopy labeled plastic bag; again, rolled and taped with masking tape. • The wheels and nuts were out of the package supplied for them.(scattered on bottom of box, only thing not packaged well). • Scuffs on the metal that holds the wheels on the bag: like it had been rolled across the floor. Other than the problems no tears, system went up exactly how it was was described. Looking to further use. ONE MAJOR THING OUT OF ALL : IF IM PAYOMG FOR NEW, CAN YOU SEND ME ”NEW VERIFIED” PRODUCT - THX CUSTOMER. ... show more

This tent did not come with the weights and the manufacturer did not step up to make good in that despite us sending in the photos they requested. Plastic piece for center of tent very flimsy. Terrible instructions. Very nice color and looks awesome! Only used once and paint on one of legs peeling. Weight in picture bought separately. ... show more
