Two things I noticed literally right out of the box: it was very well packaged, and the welded ends of the supports didn’t have a lot of welding. Sure enough, literally 15 mins. into assembly, the first side bars I joined and lifted up, the welding broke. I didn’t drop it, didn’t put stress on it, it simply broke from its own weight. Such poor craftsmanship. I was disappointed I had to lug it to The UPS store alone, and, I kid you not, there was another one at UPS being returned. Arrived quickly. I was surprised to find the package weighs in at better than 50lbs. It came packaged very well and was easy to put up. While I didn't find any directions, figuring it out was easy. Just remember to put the canopy on the frame before you bring it to full height. Canopy is heavier grade than others I have used in the past and the frame is powder coated steel and VERY sturdy. There are two height adjustments for each leg so if the terrain is uneven you can get it level. The frame legs snap in place with a solid click. The case/wheels is made well too and seems as if it could outlast the canopy. heavy duty zippers are easy to slide and unlike many other cases has a bit of extra room in it so that the everything goes back in. I can't tell you the amount of times that once out of the case you can't get the thing back in. That is not the case (pun intended) here. In addition weight bags were included (you provide the sand). I have bought many canopies over the years and while this was the most expensive (not that much) , this one is by far the highest quality. UPDATE: After only a month a regular use the canopy colors faded. The real nice blue stripes changed to ugly purple. NOT COOL. ... show more

My wife absolutely loves this tent. It is bigger and heavier than the smaller lightweight models we had in the past. Because of its size and weight it is a little more difficult to put up. But it is worth the effort, because it is a very nice canopy once it is set up. It is heavy enough on its own to stand in a light breeze without being tied down, in the backyard for example which is where we are using it. The turquoise color is very pretty, and the material although not what I would call heavy duty is still fairly substantial and reinforced on friction areas. We are very satisfied with this purchase. This is a beautiful canopy, I enjoyed it for all of a 1/2 day (5 stars) - My issue is with the Customer Service - zero starts. I purchased it in March 2021 but did not put it up until the July 5th. We spend about 4 hours getting it up on a Monday and unfortunately a sever storm hit my area on Tuesday, (who knew NJ could receive such serve weather in July, we had a new record for damages). The Gazebo tumble over, rolled over to the next yard and was damaged. Two of the rods were broken (see pics) and two poles were bent. I have tried to contact ABCCANOPY by e-mail just to ask if I can PURCHASE replacement parts (they do not have a number, just an e-mail from their site.) NO REPLY. The Gazebo is so nice (I didn't even get to take a pic of it standing) I was thinking just to order another one in a different color so I can change colors summer to summer - BUT, I don't like spending money with companies I cannot receive help or an answer from. This was no one's fault but really, no customer service? I could have lived with a NO but NO REPLY? ... show more

I set this up with the “help” of a four year old. So, I’d say the assembly was pretty easy. I took the extra step of screwing the feet into my deck and it managed to survive 25MPH+ winds unscathed. Not that I would recommend this. I was definitely checking it periodically throughout the storm to see if it was going to take flight. So far we have enjoyed using it and are looking forward to more outdoor summer hangouts. ... show more

I have had this up now for about 8 weeks and I am still in love with it. It has provided great shade, stays dry in the rain, was easy to assemble (definitely needs 2 people). We have had crazy wind over the last month and it has held its own beautifully. It does get a little squeaky with heavy winds, and I try to take the canopy down when it’s gusty over 30mph to preserve the structure. But it isn’t very easy with a step ladder to take down and get back up. The color has faded ontop more than I would have liked, but I am so pleased with this product at this price point. Very easy to put up with 2 people. Good quality canopy. Fits very snug so water won’t pool on top. Very heavy after all put together. We screwed it down to the deck, it gets very windy here.

I love that the color was a true navy blue, I didn’t like that some of the tack welds were done really bad. I had the wind blow before my sandbags came in and it fell and bent one of the poles, shouldn’t be a hard fix since it was one of the bad welds that broke. Definitely setup after you get the sandbags and fill them with small rock. I have had the wind blow since and this thing doesn’t move. ... show more
