I got the blue ABCCANOPY 13’ x13’ pop-up gazebo to set up on my new pool deck this summer. The mosquito net is a bonus for me! I have a new nephew that will be coming over with his mommy, brother and sister to swim during the summer and this pop-up will be the perfect spot for him when he isn’t in the pool with the rest of us. Although I won’t be using it outside for a few months, I was excited to see how it worked and what it looked like out of the box. It is similar to another pop-up canopy that I have but I like this one better because of the look and the mosquito net. Like my other canopy, this comes with rope and stakes for tie-down, empty weight bags to fill with sand, and a carrying case for storage. The fabric is a 150 silver coated poly with UV protection of 99% blockage (UPF 50). I love the bright blue color of the canopy because it will match my pool nicely. The set-up directions are very simple, and it only took my boyfriend and me about 5 minutes to put it together. Although one person can set this up, I recommend having two people instead because if only one person is doing it there is a lot of back and forth between adjusting the legs and adding the canopy. Unlike my other pop-up canopy, this one has a double top which is for ventilation and airflow. I think that it looks nice too. Given the quality and functionality of this canopy, the price is very reasonable. I recommend this to anyone interested.

The advertisement implies that one person can setup this canopy in one minute - THAT'S NOT HAPPENING. It took my wife and I about 45 minutes to get this thing put together the first time - mostly because the instructions appear to have been translated from Chinese to English with a stop through hieroglyphs in between, at which time many words were mixed up like scrabble tiles and re-arranged into something almost, but not entirely, unlike the original instructions. For example, at one point, you are told to attach the screens using velcro, but there's no velcro, only little plastic hooks/rings. We eventually figured it out, or improvised, or something, and it's a pretty nice canopy - or it was until a slight breeze (around 8-10 mph) uprooted it, stakes and all, and threw it over the fence and into the street. One of the metal bars that is part of the roof portion broke in half, so I'm not sure if we will be able to ever use this thing again. HINT #1: You'll want at least two people for setup, regardless of what the ad claims. HINT #2: Get better stakes and tie-down ropes for all four corners, or this thing will sail away like it was written by Styx.
