The media could not be loaded. First and foremost, the gazebo is of the highest caliber. It feels really solid and is constructed with durable materials. The gazebo has held up well and has no indications of wear and tear, even the occasional strong gust of wind or heavy rain. The method of construction was shockingly simple and easy. I only needed a few hours to assemble the gazebo on my own thanks to the clear and simple directions. My backyard project turned out absolutely beautifully, and everyone who has seen it has given me countless praises. The gazebo's versatility is one of my favorite features. The gazebo offers the ideal amount of shade and shelter from the elements, whether I'm holding a backyard barbeque, unwinding with a glass of wine in the evening, or simply reading a book. In the nights of the summer, it's also fantastic for warding off bothersome mosquitoes. I cant wait to add some lights next weekend and enjoy. The product came late, but it was packed well. The box itself wasn't that heavy--the delivery person lifted it by himself. I'm not as quick so my wife helped me carry it to the backyard. Assembly was easy and can be done by one person. The frame with just the poles didn't look that sturdy, but after adding on the "dome" frame, it was stronger. The instructions aren't great and are simply pictures; there aren't that many nuts and bolts to attach. The canopy fabric didn't really need the tool they provided to help stretch it. They redesigned the longer frame ends so that you could put the canopy fabric on first, then switch (by pressing in a spring-loaded button and pulling the end cap) to a longer setting to set each end. I have no idea how to put on the corner leg fabrics, so I just hung them up--they look like they may be on the wrong side to me. So far it stands sturdily against the 5-10 mph drafts we are seeing in Sacramento. Time will tell how it holds up to stronger wind and rain. ... show more

Very easy to assemble thanks to the main posts being two pieces that bolt together and the top being snap together. I was able to assemble the entire top without a ladder, then had my wife assist to attatch the lower post pieces to bring it to it's final height. The issue that I did have with assembly was that three of the snap in pieces did not line up with their corresponding holes, so I was faced with a choice: disassemble and return the whole thing and find out that they were no longer in stock, (There was no customer service number or email option to get replacement parts), or drill new holes and paint it to prevent rust. I went with the latter and am very happy with the canopy. The fabric seems very robust and I love the "pull loop" sewn into one corner of the top and pull hook (provided) to help get the fourth corner nested onto the last arm (without getting a finger caught in there). The size is perfect, we fit a table & 6 chairs under it, and the height is tall enough that nobody will bump their head. I attatched tie downs at all four corners (attatched at the lower post/ crossarm attachment point) and added velcro attatched bags filled with sand to the bottom of all four posts. This has proven to be a very sturdy setup as the canopy has been rock solid through several very windy storms. ... show more

I bought this canopy for my backyard deck, as a replacement for the pop-up canopy we had been using. When it arrived, I was impressed with how well it was packaged, and the material for the canopy’s roof was much sturdier than I expected, so I was looking forward to building and using this canopy. Then I actually started building it. The instructions were simple, and I thought it would go up nicely, but then I ran into a problem: one of the pieces broke (a plate that was welded on the end of one of the side roof supports snapped off). Well, fudge, I thought. I contacted the seller directly to ask about a replacement part. They first asked if I knew someone who could weld the plate back on. I replied that I didn’t. (Frankly, if I knew a welder, I would probably have just hired him to build me a sturdier canopy from the get-go.) They next offered to send me a replacement for the broken part if I would pay $50 for the shipping. I replied that I had already paid for their product and had it shipped, so I was not interested in paying more. Their third offer was to send me a (smaller) replacement canopy if I would pay $60. So, I replied, you want me to pay a total of $450 for a canopy that lists on Amazon for $330? That does not sound like a bargain to me, so I declined that offer, too. In the interest of saving time (each round of this discussion took 24 hours—I would communicate during the day, and they would respond overnight), I told them that there were three options that would satisfy me: 1) send a replacement part at no charge, 2) send a replacement canopy and I will return the faulty canopy, again at no charge, or 3) I send the canopy back to Amazon for a full refund and leave a product review explaining why. You are reading the review, so you know how that offer went. It’s just as well. As I was disassembling the parts I had assembled in order to ship it back to Amazon, two other side supports had the same metal plates snap off. I hate to think what this structure would look like after even a mild wind. ... show more

I’ve had this gazebo for about 9 months. It provided shade for us and our grill during the 110° summer, which was our main goal. We have it weighted down with sandbags because we rent. It has stayed through an EF2 tornado, days of extremely high winds, and has held up to about 8 inches of snow on the canopy top of it right now. This was well worth it, and we will buy again if something happens to this gazebo. ... show more
