I'm an under-100-pound lady, and setting up this tent by myself was quite a challenge due to its net weight of about 50 pounds. Although it's not impossible, it would definitely be easier with another person's help. Once set up, the tent performs well. It’s important to note that while the description states it's 10x10, the top actually measures 8 feet, and only the bottom spans the full 10 feet. Product canopy is actually 8x8. Measurement at the bottom of slanted legs is 10x10. This is important to note because 8x8 is 64 sq feet whereas 10x10 is 100 sqft or 50% more coverage. Product was easy to set up and take down and comes with own carry bag. Can recommend only as an 8x8 canopy.

It’s 8x8 with feet kicked out to take up more space for no reason. The canopy itself is not 10x10, so I don’t know why they would list it as a 10x10. Also if you purchased their older 10x10 (actual) version, this is substantially cheaper quality for the same price. My older version one weights more than 10lb more than this one.. the new one is only ~24.7lb (11.2kg) vs the old one at 34.8 (15.8kg) if that’s any indicator. I’ll be returning this flimsy piece of junk before t turns into an accordion at the first hint of wind ... show more

Super easy to assemble, lightweight, easy to take down, and provides a nice shade area for backyard picnics. We take it to the beach too. Just make sure if you get saltwater or sand on the legs that you immediately rinse with fresh water AND DRY as soon as you get home, because the legs will rust if you’re not careful.
