Excellent and much loved by creative 8 year old gamer. Younger sibling also helps draw items and test games! This is hours of fun and requires a lot of forethought and even some scientific thinking to strategize how to make the game work, or how to make it better. And all for an affordable price. It seems too good to be true, but it isn't!

I bought Pixicade as a Christmas gift for my 8-year-old grandson because it looked like an awesome way to turn his wild drawings into video games. Fast forward months later—it’s still sitting unopened, silently judging us both. At this point, if he doesn’t fire it up soon, I’m going full heist mode and reclaiming it. I mean, who wouldn’t want to bring their doodles to life and become a game designer from the couch? It looks fun, creative, and frankly… wasted on someone who’d rather play pre-made games. Minus one star for the packaging not coming with a sense of urgency or a dramatic voiceover saying, “USE ME NOW!” Otherwise, it’s a fantastic idea and I’m absolutely trying it myself if he doesn’t get to it first.

Pixicade is a great gift for children to use their creativity! My three Granddaughters love to surprise me with their finished projects. I am a Grammy opposed to having children have their faces in the screen of a cell phone. This activity keeps their attention for a long long time, so I think it’s all that and then some. You cannot go wrong. Pixicade is a sure fired winner. Great gift or something to have when they come to Grammy’s house.

This exceeded my expectations….. my grandson and granddaughter loved making their own video games. It is well worth the (very reasonable) price and is easy to set up and start creating right away. They loved it so much, I ordered one for another grandson and on3 more for my landlord’s sons I may even order one for myself! Finally! A product that is exactly as advertised and at a great price!
