When I moved out of my last apt, I got rid of my box spring because my new mattress in a box was super thick/tall and I wanted a smaller profile box spring to go underneath. When I moved into my new house, I ordered this low profile metal box spring to give my new foam mattress the support I wanted without having to climb super high into my bed. I kept the wooden slats that I already had with my bed, and figured it wouldn’t hurt. The setup is easy, but you need space to put it together. I did it all myself and used only the tools and supplies that came with the product. So it’s been about a month since I’ve been sleeping on my metal box spring and foam mattress on top.. and I have zero complaints. I’m so glad I did my research and stumbled across this one as it feels sturdy and made of quality material. The cover is not super great, but that’s not really a big concern for me. It was EXTREMELY easy to assemble. Directions were easy to follow, and it took me about one hour. I have a hard time getting q queen size anything up my stairs to the second floor, and this was the perfect answer. I fully intend to order another for my other for my guest bedroom.
