I used this cable to replace the stock cable that came w/ a Fimco 40 gal 3-pt hitch tank sprayer on a 2020 John Deere 1025R. The Fimco's stock cable comes w/ alligator clips rather than a 12 volt connector and does not reach the battery on the 1025R. This cable is long enough (7.8 ft) to reach the 12-V outlet comfortably and have the switch easily accessible while in the seat. ... show more

I was using this for my sprayer tank. Ran the adapter to the 12v outlet on my machine . And within 10 mins it quit working and smelled like burning plastic from the on off switch

Worked as it should when received. Stopped working after 3 uses with a pull behind tank sprayer. Took switch apart and soldered connection to switch came apart. Resoldered and works again. If comes apart again, I will solder in a better quality switch.
