  • Long Lasting Batteries
Size: 20 Count (Pack of 1)
I had to replace a few recently after several years of facing the elements. I am amazed at how long these lasted with our weather conditions of the past few years. I did have to change a few this year - but, some are still going strong. AMAZED for the price.

  • Does the job but inconsistent results
Size: 20 Count (Pack of 1)
Solar lights don't require too much reserve capacity and the solar panels are usually of low output and/or quality. My experience has average at best. These AA Ni-Cad batteries fit without any drama. So physically, noting to report here. The solar lights at my house were about two years old, about a third of them weren't holding a charge any longer so when I replaced them with these batteries they all now come at at dusk. Good thing. What I did observe is some of the lights quit before the others. Some are slightly brighter than the others. Now before someone thinks the lights could be receiving different amount of sun light, this could be true, except the lights I am referring to are on my backyard fence posts about 3 feet apart. No trees or buildings or anything to block the sun at all. I guess I will need to check the voltage output of each battery before they come on and see if there are much output difference. PROS: AA battery sized no problems, Cost CONS: inconsistent output/capacity OVERALL: If you need rechargeable solar battery replacement at a low cost, get these. ... show more

  • Perfect...Just What I Needed
Size: 20 Count (Pack of 1)
I used these batteries to replace the batteries in my yard solar lights. So far, the light has been turning on each night and staying lit for most of the night. Some of the batteries had power already in it after I opened up the package. I replaced the old batteries at night with the new NiCd batteries and let it light up the yard. I heard with NiCD batteries, it best to discharge the batteries completely first before recharging it so it doesn't hold a memory charge. ... show more

  • Received batteries that did not work
Size: 20 Count (Pack of 1)
When I received the batteries none of them were working. I attempted to charge them in the charger that I also purchased and they just heated up and some started blinking red. I then did some research on them and found out they are only chargeable by the sun. It would be nice if they put that information on the website when purchasing them. So far only 2 of the 3 that were charged by the sun are working. I fear if I left them in the charger overnight it would have started a house fire. Is it me or shouldn’t this information be posted? If for nothing else but safety concerns. ... show more
