This is so easy to use and you get such amazing results! Just attach the handle with the included screw/tool and then you're ready to craft! The included embossing plates work wonderfully. I just love the butterfly motif. Follow the included instructions to accurately create your 'sandwich' (order of plates/materials). The dies cut the cardstock completely and again...just easy. You can create a beautiful card in literally just minutes. I own a Cricut Maker - but this Scrapblooms machine definitely embosses much quicker. You just need to screw in the handle (extra screw included) and you’re good to go. It comes with a base platform and three cutting boards: one thicker and two thinner. There are also several dies and some paper to try out. I recommend getting a self-healing mat for die cutting for clean cuts. It is impossible to cut dies on cardstock with just the supplies provided. The thicknesses of the boards don’t line up right; I had to add shims from other products on hand. Embossing cardstock with folders works fine with the base and cutting pads. It’s very easy to use and appears sturdy. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This sturdy A5 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine is a fabulous addition to my crafting toolbox! I have three other manual cutting machines, but they are all large and inconvenient to move from place to place. I had contemplated getting one of the smaller machines but was willing to pay the steep price associated with some of the "branded" cutters. Especially after hearing some of the stories of warped plates and failed systems. When this cutter became available in the Vine Program, I decided I would give it a try. I was more than pleasantly surprised when it arrived today! I unboxed it and immediately put it to use! I am so happy with the performance of this equipment. And, more than anything, I am happy that I now have a portable cutter that fits on my work desk! This die-cutting and embossing machine is also very attractive! The design is stylish, and I love the color! I am glad that this machine does not fold up, while that design saves space, it is another moving part that will eventually fail! This cutter has been put through its paces today, and I am satisfied with the outcome of every project! Although this was a promotional item for me, I would gladly pay the asking price.
