  • Great Ebike with a value to match
Color: Black
I've had my Aipas A2 for a little over 2 months now and I've already put over 100 miles on it—absolutely loving the experience so far! The bike arrived well-packed with no damage, and setup was quick and easy. Right out of the box, I was impressed by the number of features it came with. The color LCD screen is bright and easy to read, showing everything I need while riding. One of my favorite things about this bike is that it’s foldable—makes storage and transport super convenient, especially for someone with limited space. The ride is smooth, the battery life has been solid, and overall it’s exceeded my expectations for the price. Definitely a great value and a fun ride. Highly recommended! ... show more

  • Great option for my first e-bike
Color: Black
This is my first e-bike so my knowledge is lacking. It was shipped promptly, although I had to settle for the grey vs. black one I really wanted. The bike is heavy, but I believe most are. It folds and is easy to fold but I haven't used it much outside of the first charge of the battery and to see where it was. It is a great option. You would fold it to remove the main battery. The thing arrives in a box folded and you essentially put together the main parts, which if you have had a bike ever in your life you can figure out. It provides a quality rack on the back, comfortable seat and a headlight you can operate. The gear selector is easy and learning the bike took a bit of time but I got the hang of it. The big thing to remember is (again I was a newbie) when you have the peddle assist on it will assist you. So slowing up and thinking you can peddle it without it taking over can be problematic. You can turn it off. I'm still trying to understand it all and it get's to a peddle assist 5 but I've only gotten there by accident and cannot recreate the how. It has a cruise control feature which I love! The heads up display will tell you basics and the handle bars are fairly full otherwise. They sell a cellphone holder, I just can't imagine placing it there with everything else. There's a few things I want to mention though. #1 the 28mph claim I'm not sure where that comes from. As a type 2 bike you can't go faster than 20mph. Peddling it is easy, but when you're at 20mph there isn't a high enough gear for you to get traction to get to 28mph unless you frantically peddle gear 7 and that won't do you any good. I haven't gotten it past 22mph and that was on a downhill. #2 a 62 mile range is extremely generous. I ride about 10 miles each way to work and the battery is at half mast by the time I'm there. I have to plug it in at work and plug it back in when I'm home to ensure I have full power to get home. It doesn't operate at it's best when the battery is gets low. I can't imagine ever getting 62 miles out of this bike on a single charge. There seems to be higher level battery you can get but it's half the price of the bike itself. As long as I can go short distances with the ability to plug in before my next journey I'm ok. I found the price of the bike itself very reasonable and would definitely recommend it. Also depending on the weight, it can be hard to get going or going up a hill. It's got good power but sometimes I wish it were better. The support can take awhile, I tried 3x before I got a response but once they did they kept in touch. I'm at 460 miles and have been riding it for 5 weeks now. You may find servicing it a challenge, a few bike stores wouldn't touch it because they didn't sell it or it wasn't one they felt worthy. To me a bike is a bike, can you fix it for money? Honestly the snootiness of some of them was really eye opening. But I'm happy with it. I like the way it looks, I like the options. But one last thing, I absolutely hate the placement of the horn. The first week I was randomly hitting it from pushing it one way or the other. It's too easy to hit and it's really loud in a small space. Outside the few times I've used it's been heard but if I could turn it off I would. ... show more

  • Great e-bike with great customer service
The media could not be loaded. I have had this e-bike for about 3 days now and I loves it. It rides so smooth the brakes works great it haves great power and good speeds the build quality is great it’s just a great e bike. Also the company customer service is amazing. When I purchased the e-bike I received a email thanking me for my purchase then I received a email to let me know it has been shipped and they sent a pdf of the manual so I can familiarize myself with the bike while I waited for it they also emailed me to see if received my back and was everything was working fine. To me that’s good customer service. Definitely would recommend this bike. ... show more

  • My first e-bike and I'm stoked!
Color: Orange
I searched around quite a bit. And thought this fold-able bike would be good for me. I was worried about putting it together but was really surprised when I easily got it assembled. That was one of the major sales points for me. I had a couple of questions and customer service answered my messages quickly and accurately. They were patient with my questions (which in hindsight were pretty simple once you know the answers but they seemed like mountains to me). The bike is awesome. It took little time to get comfortable with it. But I'd only rode a Vespa before. It has enough power for me and once I was able to understand how to use Pedal Assist it became a dream machine. I like the way it looks, works and functions. Unlike some of the bigger bikes, once folded I can easily fit it in my Vanagon. I'm excited about summer and think my bike will so fun and useful. I'm a fan of the AIPAS A2 Foldable Bike and hope you find my review helpful. ... show more

  • Affordable, Good Bike
Color: White
Bike is overall V. GOOD. Passible improvement in some areas: Ergonomic design: Having in mind that this aipas A2 is a bike with pedals the ergonomic design should closer to meet ergonomic requirements for a bike. The saddle adjustment may fit most people but the handlebar is too high and not possible to lower down to the position as a ordinary bike should have. Manufacturing: Good frame assembly, aluminum frame welding is of the high quality as many other parts are well done.. Hidden battery and its position is somewhat very inconvenient because you have to brake (fold) the bike to take it out and put it in again for security reason. Sometime battery may drop out on a floor because you have to hold bike and the battery key with two hands. Range: I have not made long range but is looks good, so far. Overall: Assuming that this is affordable bike that fits a lot of people needs I wish the design include some features that will accommodate owner who lives in multi family communities who needs to lock and disable bike from unlawful use. Removing battery on daily base is a pain. If you leave your battery in the frame, the bike is completely operational and easy to take away. If you use cable lock somebody may engage the power, turn light on or use the siren without any key. Using mechanical device like cable lock may prevent somebody to take it away but still the bike functions, unless you remove the battery. Again, this is good bike for many reasons, hopefully the manufacturer will address some of these suggestions to accommodate waste majority of people, because, at the end a bike specially eBikes became the vehicle of the urban living. ... show more
