  • Great option for my first e-bike
Color: Black
This is my first e-bike so my knowledge is lacking. It was shipped promptly, although I had to settle for the grey vs. black one I really wanted. The bike is heavy, but I believe most are. It folds and is easy to fold but I haven't used it much outside of the first charge of the battery and to see where it was. It is a great option. You would fold it to remove the main battery. The thing arrives in a box folded and you essentially put together the main parts, which if you have had a bike ever in your life you can figure out. It provides a quality rack on the back, comfortable seat and a headlight you can operate. The gear selector is easy and learning the bike took a bit of time but I got the hang of it. The big thing to remember is (again I was a newbie) when you have the peddle assist on it will assist you. So slowing up and thinking you can peddle it without it taking over can be problematic. You can turn it off. I'm still trying to understand it all and it get's to a peddle assist 5 but I've only gotten there by accident and cannot recreate the how. It has a cruise control feature which I love! The heads up display will tell you basics and the handle bars are fairly full otherwise. They sell a cellphone holder, I just can't imagine placing it there with everything else. There's a few things I want to mention though. #1 the 28mph claim I'm not sure where that comes from. As a type 2 bike you can't go faster than 20mph. Peddling it is easy, but when you're at 20mph there isn't a high enough gear for you to get traction to get to 28mph unless you frantically peddle gear 7 and that won't do you any good. I haven't gotten it past 22mph and that was on a downhill. #2 a 62 mile range is extremely generous. I ride about 10 miles each way to work and the battery is at half mast by the time I'm there. I have to plug it in at work and plug it back in when I'm home to ensure I have full power to get home. It doesn't operate at it's best when the battery is gets low. I can't imagine ever getting 62 miles out of this bike on a single charge. There seems to be higher level battery you can get but it's half the price of the bike itself. As long as I can go short distances with the ability to plug in before my next journey I'm ok. I found the price of the bike itself very reasonable and would definitely recommend it. Also depending on the weight, it can be hard to get going or going up a hill. It's got good power but sometimes I wish it were better. The support can take awhile, I tried 3x before I got a response but once they did they kept in touch. I'm at 460 miles and have been riding it for 5 weeks now. You may find servicing it a challenge, a few bike stores wouldn't touch it because they didn't sell it or it wasn't one they felt worthy. To me a bike is a bike, can you fix it for money? Honestly the snootiness of some of them was really eye opening. But I'm happy with it. I like the way it looks, I like the options. But one last thing, I absolutely hate the placement of the horn. The first week I was randomly hitting it from pushing it one way or the other. It's too easy to hit and it's really loud in a small space. Outside the few times I've used it's been heard but if I could turn it off I would. ... show more

  • Great gift!
Gift for a senior citizen. Easy to get on and off and easy to pedal. It is comfortable and operate . The battery lasts a long time on a single charge, about 50 miles last I asked. It’s foldable so it can be put in the back of a truck, SUV or larger trunk of a car.

  • Fast delivery, sound bike
Color: Orange
This appears to be a clone of the popular Lectric 2.0 with a few minor changes. I ordered the bike on Saturday and got a shipping confirmation email same day, bike arrived the following Friday, ( California to Florida) shipping box had no damage and bike was well packed, came fully assembled except for the pedals, just unfold and ready to ride, battery was 1/3rd charged, enough for a quick test ride, only issue is and annoying squeak from the front break,I should be able to adjust the bike to eliminate that. And the tires were over inflated, they were rock hard, bleeding a few pounds of air out fixed that. I couple other minor items, the key is only used to remove the battery so it can be turned on just by holding down the on button, I am okay with this but feel Aipas should at least make the turn on procedure a little more complicated just to fool a would be thief, the other thing is headlight and turn signals will stay on when the bike is turned off, and in bright sunlight you will not notice these are on, also the turn signal has no audible sound to tell you it is on and the switch for both is easy to unintentionally turn on, other than that it seems to be a great bike and I would buy again ... show more

  • Our first ebike and will probably order a second one
Color: Green
After no small amount of research, we found that we really couldn't beat the price on this 750W Ebike and ordered it. Boy, are we glad we did. No real assembly other than folding down the pedals! After reading about so many other brands and the assembly involved on many of them, this was fantastic. I will say that it took about 15 minutes just to get it unpacked, but that's because they did such a great job protecting the bike from any damage. From the first ride, we were hooked and have put nearly 50 miles on the bike up and down the hills here in California's gold country. Probably the main reason we don't ride bicycles more up here is because you can't go anywhere around here that's not uphill...both ways. :) The bike is on the charger on its second charge since getting it, right now. Pretty darned good...especially considering the hills and that I'm not a small guy at over 200lb. Even at that, it has no problem pulling the hills itself if I don't feel like pedalling and, when I do, I have 7 gears and 5 PAS modes to help me up those hills. Regardless of what gear I'm in, PAS 5 gives me more than enough help on even the longest of hills, and they're fairly steep, too. Easy to change gears and PAS modes, this bike has me spoiled. Oh, I didn't even mention the cushy, padded seat (saddle). It's been a long time since I've been on a bike and this one sure makes it enjoyable. Looking forward to folding it up and packing it (and another one?) in the trailer to head out on the road. ... show more
