Don't let the compact size fool you—this little machine packs a serious punch. I bought the 10W version mostly for thicker plywood crafts and coated metal dog tags, and it cuts and engraves effortlessly at really high speeds. What really sold me was the software ecosystem. CutLabX is actually free and works seamlessly on both my computer and my phone. Being able to control it via the mobile app is super convenient, and I love using the AI prompt feature to generate quick graphic ideas. So many brands inflate their laser power claims, but this 5W machine legitimately cuts through 4mm plywood and 3mm acrylic in a single pass without breaking a sweat. I bought it specifically for making custom metal pet ID tags and small wooden craft batches, and it runs fast (12,000 mm/min) while keeping super crisp 4K details.
