Useful and strong cart
Set name: 850 lb Capacity Cart
This is a great cart that has a lot of uses. The cart is very heavy duty plastic with a metal base where the wheels attach. The instructions were clear and easy to follow and it took about 20 minutes to assemble. Once assembled I immediately put it to use moving debris from my front porch and it handled this task easily. It is very big and fit everything I needed to move into it without issue. I moved it to the new location and used the dump function to get everything out of the cart. Overall this is an awesome tool to have though the price is high. I'm not sure what the standard costs are for something like this but given the heavy duty nature of the cart, I can understand why it's expensive.

Heavy duty plastic, good manuverability, concern about handle
Set name: 450 lb Capacity Cart
First of all, I like others were not sent the correct parts for the cart. That is why I did ding one star off. But I thought about adding it back because they had sent by mistake the 850 lb capacity cart. It took a little bit of time, about a week to get the right parts, then I could continue with my thoughts on this Alpine trash cart. The plastic on this cart is very thick and very durable. I have no concern there. It will last a very long time. As you tip it the, the angled side is roughly parallel with the ground. The weight of the cart is balanced over the larger wheels which aids in maneuverability and lifting a filled cart. This cart can be moved quite easily and through and around a shop environment. Minor feature that I wish it had. A smooth and flat bottom would have been nice. That way any dust and debris would have a harder time getting stuck at the bottom. My main concern is the handle and its attachment through the the cart. I am concerned that over years of usage that the handle may break through. This is the main reason that I kept it at a 4 star. I may end up adding a metal bars across the back and drill two holes to accept the bolts. This modification would spread the load of the handle bolts across a larger area of plastic.

Great Trash Cart

This Trash Cart is such a convenience to have. It's fairly simple to add the included wheels to complete the assembly. The size is bigger than expected and it's very durable. I've used it to more for transporting boxes in a bunch from storage then using a hand truck. Very sturdy and a really great value.

I received this with a set of wheels that do not go with the item at all! It is useless! The bin doesn't have enough of the holes drilled into it as the instructions say, or as the wheels are set up for. So there is no way to attach the wheels at all! Which makes this item completely useless! Very disappointed.

Sturdy Cart, But wrong casters....company is sending them...PROBLEM SOLVED IN A TIMELY FASHION!
Set name: 450 lb Capacity Cart
This cart is sturdy and made of thick polymer for durability and long life. It has a convenient handle and pushing and dumping. The shape is designed for easy dumping and it looks like it would work great at that making jobs around the shop/warehouse much easier, thus increasing efficiency for workers. The casters are heavy duty and should easily handle a fully loaded, very heavy cart with no problems and should last a long time. BUT.....The casters must be screwed in to the bottom into pre-drilled and steel threaded inserts....see pics. There are not enough threaded holes for the type of casters that I got with this cart....see pics???? I'm not sure what to do about this and I'm currently trying to get ahold of the company to figure this out....I'll update once I have a solution..... UPDATE! The company was easy to work with and replied within a day...they are sending the correct casters for the particular dump bin that I got....they must have different bins, because some other person who posted pics clearly has 4 attachment holes for each caster (which would have been the correct set up for the casters that I got). So, as long as I receive casters that screw in to the bin that I have...I'll be happy and will update this review again. UPDDATE: I've increase the review to 4 stars...can't give 5 because of the initial mess up of sending the wrong wheel step. HOWEVER, I contacted 'Alpine' and they promptly (within 24 hours) got back to me and asked for the appropriate Lot numbers so they could line up the correct wheel set. They promptly sent the correct wheel set and sent me the tracking number. As it turns out, I though I requested the 450 lb bin, but apparently they sent me the 850 lbs bin and have now sent me the appropriate 850 lbs bin wheel set with a heavier set of front wheels/tires and a whole metal frame than attaches to the under side of the bin that all sets of wheels attach to.....problem solved. Thank you Alpine for taking care of my issue in a timely professional manner.

This Alpine 800 lb utility cart is hands-down one of the toughest, best-built carts I’ve ever owned. After years of dealing with cheap, flimsy carts that constantly fell apart under actual ranch work, this one is in a completely different class.The design is excellent: rugged caster wheels up front paired with heavy-duty rear balancing wheels give it outstanding maneuverability while keeping it rock-solid even when fully loaded. The thick, heavy-gauge plastic is incredibly durable—weatherproof, impact-resistant, and tough enough that nothing pokes through the sides. It handles brush, trash, tools, and spare parts with ease.Assembly was simple, and the overall build quality is impressive, from the heavy-duty casters to the solid rear axle. It rolls smoothly on pavement but performs just as well on gravel, dirt, and uneven ground. We regularly overload it well past 800 pounds with zero flexing or tipping issues.We contacted Alpine (they’re based in New Jersey) and they were great to work with—they sent us a lid to try. It fits perfectly: secure when on, yet easy to take off and put back on. The lid matches the same high-quality standard as the cart itself.This cart has already proven its worth on our ranch. If you need a true heavy-duty utility cart that will actually last, this one far exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended!

Alpine Trash Cart with Wheels

If you manage property, trails, cabins, landscaping projects, or large events, you know how valuable a truly sturdy utility cart can be. My first impression was simply: wow, this thing is built like a tank. The wheels roll smoothly even when loaded, and the construction feels commercial-grade.
