I bought eight of these to replace metal halide lamps that were sucking down a kilowatt/hour in my small riding ring behind my house. The good part is they are very bright. The bad part is that the documentation that comes with them is worse than minimal, it's completely inadequate. Even though the pamphlet said that if you turned them off with the "Off" button it would turn off the auto-on feature, every night they would still come on. I did not want them shining into my neighbors yards all night! Attempting to contact A-zone was useless, they never responded. Amazon support did, tried to help, but only had the same information I had from the pamphlet that came with the lights. No matter which buttons in whatever combination I tried, they still came on at dusk. I even tried the undocumented middle button between the brightness buttons, as someone suggested. No amount of pressing it for however long worked. Finally, out of desperation I tried the red button at the top left of the remote. There is nothing for this button in the documentation, no notation on the picture of the remote that describes the other buttons. Amazon support thought it must not have a function. It was the only thing left to try, so I did. After pressing it the lights flashed and turned off. I waited for dusk. I was ready to pack them all up and send them back. But, finally, at last, they did not turn on the next evening. Now I turn them on with the "On" button and only turn them off with that nameless red button. They stay off until the next time I turn them on. So I'll keep them, which is a big relief. It was hard finding lights that are bright enough to light the ring and are solar powered. Two other quibbles. Two of the solar panels arrived smashed, but were quickly replaced. The remotes, in addition to being poorly documented, only work within a few feet of the lights. Fortunately the same remote works for all of them, but we have to walk around and get directly under each light just right to turn them on and off. Sometimes it takes a few tries (they are mounted on poles about 15 feet up). If you want automated security lights, these are probably a great choice. If you want on demand lights, there may be better choices. Company support is woefully absent. For my purposes now that I've figured out how to work them, they give me the light I need without the huge electric bill. I wish I could tilt the lights to aim them better. I am mostly satisfied. I hope they last, but if not I'll hope there's another more suitable choice when it comes time to replace them. Update: Although the lights continue to work well for me and I will keep using them, I received a letter this week from Azone Tech's parent company, Shenzhen Tollar, that has given me some concern. They offered a substantial Amazon gift card in return for a five star review. Because there are issues with the lack of documentation, unresponsiveness of their support, and the problems using the remote (which is the only way to control the lights), I cannot give them a five star review, so I won't be collecting on their offer. But I am concerned about their integrity for even making this offer. You may wish to consider this when reading any five star reviews for their products and decide for yourself it you still want to do business with them. ... show more

I have a total of 15 solar lights from A-ZONE. These lights are great. I use on high setting and they last all night. I started with 4 - 500w. Then purchased a 1000w light, liked them so much that i purchased 10 more 1200w lights. For the lights I put on the shaded side of my house, I purchased a 16.4 foot extension cable 2 pin from Niorsun solar lights which have the exact 2 pin plug, also from Amazon and they work great with my A-Zone 1200w lights. The cable allows me to mount the solar panel in direct sunlight. I was going to buy several more lights today but they just raised the price so now I have to wait until it comes back down. I have a 4000 sq ft house on an acre of land with a 7 ft high block wall around the entire property and these lights make it look like daytime. ... show more
