This unit is tooooo bright. screws into socket fine but if installed in 8 floor or lower ceilings the light is to bright for everyday use no matter the application. I tried it in the cellar, garage etc it was just to bright and you could not get any relief from changing the angle of the light pads. I had to return it. ... show more

Very bright light. Plain old screw in to fixture. Is very light weight. I don't know if that means cheap but it did only cost less than thirty bucks. All that said, I highly recommend this fixture.
