Such cute hats! The inside is 100% cotton and the whole hat feels like a nice soft material and is super lightweight. The brim is more sturdy and can be flipped up if needed or down for more coverage. The brim is about 2 1/2 inches so it covers pretty well. The elastic band is great and stretchy for use from 6-24 months, we’ll have it kind of tighter for our 6 month old but I could see him being able to use this for a long time.
