I wanted to expand RAM my 2017 iMac 27" from two 8GB chips that came installed when I bought the computer. I recently bought 16GB A-Tech 16 (2x8GB) RAM. I spent a lot of time trying to learn which slots in the iMac to put the two new chips. On first try to install the two chips, the iMac did not reboot. More time was spent trying to figure out what to so. I removed both chips and the iMac booted up and worked fine. After that, it was a matter of trial and error to install and seat the chips. Finally, after about three attempts, I found a combination that worked and the iMac booted. It has been working fine since then. It may have been that I did not fully seat the chips in the slots on earlier attempts. ... show more

I receive this really fast and installed with no issue in my IMAC, right now the are working without any problem, the time will tell if they are durable. right now it been 1 month after I installed in my IMAC and working just perfect.

Aunque fue dificil de cambiar en mi Imac 2017 4k, ya que al parecer apple va en el camino de "no se metan adentro de apple" (en contra de toda la tendencia de economía circular), funcionó mejor de lo esperado, ya que estoy usando programas más pesados usando una partición para apple, que uso mucho y una partición windows a través de Bootcamp, para usar MS PowerBI. Todo ha funcionado mejor desde que lo instalé, eso sumado al SSD de 1TB, ha sido excelente inversión para darle unos años más de uso. These memory modules were advertised for the model iMac that I own and when properly installed my machine would not boot. When I removed them and put the original memory back my machine was fine. I returned them ( bad purchase )
