I was a bit worried because I thought I was getting 2 but realized I only got one module. My original MacBook had 2 * 1 gig cards. I took out one and put this in. The machine booted and showed 5 gig total which is nice. No problems so far. The machine is stable and works great. I did this as a part of a general upgrade. I also bought Snow Leapord from Apple so I could upgrade from Mac OS 10.5 to the later versions. You need that as a starting point. While at it I also replaced the drive with a Samsung 160 G SSD. So the overall result is nice. I am in the process of upgrading to later versions of OS 10.x but this is just a review of the memory. That worked already. ... show more

At first I was hesitant to buy RAM for my 2010 Macbook Pro due to compatibility concerns. However this RAM module from A-Tech was cheap enough for me to take a gamble and upgrade my RAM. I'm glad to say that this RAM module works perfectly with my MBP and I have been using my improved MBP for a month now without any issues whatsoever.
