  • Random Blue Screen Crashes at 1.5V but perfectly stable at 1.35V.
Size: 16GB Kit (2 x 8GB) Style: DDR3L
After installing this memory I initially left the voltage setting on "Automatic" in the BIOS which ran it at 1.5V, since the product description on Amazon says these memory modules are "1.35V/1.5V Dual Voltage", but this resulted in multiple Windows Blue Screen Crashes occurring randomly on a PC that was previously stable. Then I looked closely at the printed label on the product packaging and noticed it does not mention 1.5V compatibility but only says 1.35V, so I wondered if the product description on Amazon might be inaccurate. I went back into the BIOS and set the memory voltage to 1.35V and the PC has remained stable for over a week with no more Blue Screen Crashes. ... show more

  • It Worked For Me!
Size: 16GB Kit (2 x 8GB) Style: DDR3L
This was a a quick and easy install in my old timer (~2011!) Windows 7 HP Pavilion pc. It had been running quite well with 8 gig of RAM, but websites that use 10,000 java scripts in their coding and newer video rendering programs require more and more RAM usage. I popped this new RAM into the machine and the first thing I heard was a steady beeping. I shut the machine down, gave the RAM another good firm push into place, booted up again, and it took off perfectly. My boot times are faster, the computer seems to move from script infested page (read that to mean embedded ads!) to script infested with ease. Thanks! ... show more

  • Works the same as all the rest just costs less.
Size: 8GB Style: DDR3
I have used this brand of RAM for well over a year and have tried dozens of other brands in all price ranges. I cannot tell the difference performance wise between any of them. The ones that look real cool for the gaming builds with all the cooling fins and all do look like they would be faster, however from what I can tell they are all the same in speed, reliability, and function. The gaming RAM does look cooler by a mile and I only use them in high end gaming builds especially if the case has see thru panels, however there is a higher price for cool and good looks. If your not concerned with the big pimp look this brand and type of RAM will get er done for the least amount of loot. Good Luck and Cheers. ... show more

  • Lifetime Warranty, nobody home.
Size: 8GB Style: DDR3
After about a month I have had no problems with this memory. I installed 32 gig. Hopefully this will last. Update 6/17/2021 - One of my modules went bad. I called the customer support line twice - after a short wait you are forced to leave a message. Haven't heard any response to my messages, so it makes me think the support is non-existent or they just don't honor the claims they make. It would be easy to publish the return procedure on the sale page. I would not recommend buying this memory. ... show more

  • Nice Upgrade
Size: 16GB Kit (2 x 8GB) Style: DDR3L
I ordered DR3L memory sticks but received DDR3. Fortunately they worked in my Dell Optiplex 9020. I am very happy with the improved performance of my computer. Originally I only had 4GB, now I have 20GB. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!

  • Just a Re-Branded product; nothing 'Premium' about it.
Size: 16GB Kit (4 x 4GB) Style: DDR3
After reading the fine print on their WebSite & then making a phone call to get the details which weren't posted there, A-Tech doesn't actually make this memory stick, & if you call them, they can't give you any spec numbers like the SLC & latency. I had to peel back the 'warranty tape' to find it's actually made by Nanya Technology, although CPU-Z ID the sticks as SK Hynix HMT351U6CFR8C-PB 4GB. I'd feel better about the rating if they could have been up-front & open about the details, so I'd consider it "Generic Quality". It only has an "Average" rating in a comparison with 9 other similar memory modules via PassMark ratings. Otherwise, the memory upgrade works, but that's all I can say - any 'generic quality' memory would work. The sticks don't come with any heat-spreaders. Regardless, I'd consider the performance "Mediocre" at best. My order also took way too long to get to me, & they finally had to send out a 2nd package. I subsequently got the 1st package, & now I guess I can try to sell it, since afaik, with a 16GB max limit for my MoBo, it's not possible to use any more in my machine. I would have much preferred to know the specifics so I could compare prior to purchasing, but I'm including the basic details from CPU-Z FYI: JEDEC #6 11-11-11-28 @800MHz. For casual/general use, I suppose it's OK. For gaming, I'd look elsewhere. ... show more

  • They Work!!
Size: 8GB Style: DDR3
Used these to do some cross grading in our office machines so performance wasn't a major factor mainly capacity. Acer and Lenovo machines took these in stride. We run Windows 10 so having 4 GB wasn't really enough for future proofing. Upgrading half with these sticks and then moving the leftover sticks to the other machines worked perfectly while staying on budget. Windows still doesn't use over the 4gb but it does come closer as it is using less page file now , drastically reducing disk usage which will be the next upgrade to SSDs. Overall they are a great budget choice if you don't need top of the line RGB puke. ... show more

  • Two Kits Returned for Defects
Size: 16GB Kit (2 x 8GB) Style: DDR3L
Purchased the first 16 Gb kit and found one of the two cards dead right out of the box. Returned and reordered. The second-order worked fine . . . for several weeks, then one memory card failed. I am returning the second kit, but reordering a competitor's product, in hope of higher reliability.
