Initially I thought this was too short but that was wrong. The end near the air filter does not need a clamp. It is a tight fit. The end onto the throttle body takes time to slip on. Good quality except there is a extra hole needs to be pugged in the hose for 06 accord. I use a screw to thread into the extra hole.

I read other reviews about the hose having a hole and it's too short. I don't believe this replacement hose is designed to have a clamp on the air box side, it does seem to fit snug and isn't going anywhere. The port near the throttle body is blocked on mine so I didn't need to plug it. Overall works fine and more flexible than the 19 year old stock hose with 209k miles. ... show more

For my 4 cylinder 2006 Honda accord this product is almost an exact match to OEM part. HOWEVER, the air filter side cannot use the hose clamp so it just sits on the connection and is only slightly snug so slight concern with a vacuum leak there. HOWEVER, there is another tube that is not used and sealed off on the OEM but the tube is wide open on this one. This might be ideal for other car models but not ideal for my car. ... show more
