I bought this hose set about seven months ago and just kept it as a spare. Didn’t even use it until last week when I was charging a 3-ton AC system. As soon as I started using it, it started leaking badly at the ball valve — ended up burning my thumb from the refrigerant. Super frustrating. I’ve always trusted Yellow Jacket, so this really caught me off guard. When I got home, I took the valve apart and saw the O-ring was out of place. I also noticed there’s no Yellow Jacket logo anywhere on the hoses, which makes me think this is a fake. ... show more
