  • This Works
Let me start by highlighting how apprehensive I was to purchase a shed for less than $200. I searched around Amazon extensively, reading tons of customer’s reviews and settled on this brands product. Every one of these cheap build-it-yourself sheds has a few bad reviews here and there, but for the most part can all be attributed to shipping damage or user error when assembling. 1) This product is exactly as advertised. I received every single piece and all hardware that was necessary to assemble the shed 2) Every single screw hole lined up, not a single screw or hole missing during assembly 3) Instructions were very clear, and in good English. We’ve all seen poorly translated instructions from cheap Chinese knockoffs do us all no good 4) You get what you pay for! I went into this knowing that it wouldn’t be perfectly waterproof, but do your due diligence and prepare to use things like silicone caulking and expanding spray foam, and excess rain water or bugs will not be an issue after assembly! 5) The shed is exceptional given that it was under $200. It is incredibly lightweight (I can pick it up and move it after fully assembled by myself), yet it is sturdy. Couldn’t be happier with the quality, price, and ease of assembly with this project. I want to mention that I was able to whip this thing together by myself in 3.5 hours, and this is including the extra time I took to silicone caulk all the joints and screw holes for the roof. This was the easiest most straightforward thing I’ve ever built out of the box. IKEA should be worried ... show more

  • Lightweight but Sturdy Little Shed Lightweight but Sturdy Little Shed
When I first opened the box I was a little shocked at how thin the material was. The walls and roof of the shed is made out of aluminum. The sheets were thin and not very sturdy when you first take it out of the box. After building the shed, though, i was pleasantly surprised that the shed was very sturdy and structurally sound. Because the walls and roofs were thin, it made the shed lightweight and easy to move. The walls are thin, but it is strong enough to withstand wind and snow. The roof is slanted so that rain can easily run off which is a great feature. Again, the roof is also made of the aluminum so you wouldn't want snow to build up there if you live somewhere where it snows. The shed is spacious and the door is just big enough to fit a small lawn mower. This shed is floorless but the frame that it sits on is metal and seems durable. Assembly was not too bad. The handbook recommends two people to build it but I was able to do it myself in about 4 hrs, though another person would've made it easier and faster. The instruction book could be better though bc the pictures are a little small so at times it was hard to tell which way certain parts were supposed to face. Although the shed is not heavy duty, it is durable and is perfect for storing your garden tools and other outdoor items. Overall, the shed is a great buy for the price you pay. ... show more

  • Good shed for occasional use
Overall the shed met my requirements for size and price range. The shed arrived much faster than I anticipated. It comes in one box and weighs about 100 lbs. I opened the box and located the instructions which were in English and for the most part were easy to understand and follow. I went through the parts listing and ensured everything was there. Only a couple of wall panels had very minor bends in the corner and were easily straightened with pliers. After checking all the parts I simply followed the instructions step by step to complete the shed. The foundation is important to get level to make sure everything lines up. The base of the shed is important to get squared up and secured to the foundation this allows all the pre-drilled holes to line up during all future steps. I used a combination of a screw driver and a cordless screw driver to fasten all the panels and roof sections. For the most part it’s simple to construct if you follow each step and takes several hours to complete. The one drawback that is not covered in the instructions (or anywhere else I could find) is that each panel is covered with a protective sheet of plastic and has to be removed. A few of the panels the sheets peeled of in about 10 minutes. But most of the panels took between a half hour to an hour to remove. I tried several methods of removal to keep from the very thin sheets from tearing of in small pieces. It took about 10 hours to remove the protective sheets in total which was 3 times longer than it took to actually build the shed. I did all the panels before starting construction. I didn’t want to leave it on for fear that they would yellow or become brittle and flake off over time. It’s great for occasional use which is my use for it and the price was great but the difficulty in removing the plastic film prevents me from giving five stars. ... show more

  • UPDATED: NOT 5' x 3'
UPDATE: If you're buying this for the size... Don't. It is NOT 5' x 3'! It about 6" short of 5'... And 4" of 3'. I bought this to accommodate shelving that I bought... The shelving isn't even close fitting >:-/ Started out really impressed with this. Was totally thinking a 4 or 5 star project. If I could, I would send it back. Due to help and weather delays, finally got this out up today. It took us 8.5 hrs... 1 hour for the base and walls... 7.5 hrs for the roof and hinges/hasp. Tried uploading photos, but the site won't let me. Here's the thing... Pros: - I have no idea what people are talking about re "flimsy" feeling. This is actually quite solid. - Everything was almost perfect re lining up with all the holes on the sides and base... Minimal fussing. - Door frame is very sturdy. Cons: - The roof is a joke. - The side arms are not the same material as the rest of the shed, nor is the front panel above the door, across the front. These are actually quite flimsy. - NONE of the screw holes line up on either arm! If I line them up, the arms extend past the roof edge, and the roof panels do not fit. - The side arms of the roof are essentially attached with a single screw, because that was as many as I could get to work on either side. - The side arms can be simply pushed out... Or in. Pick one! They don't stay in place because, as stated above, nothing lines up. - The side arms are warped/buckled. - The left side arm was bent and "creased" and WILL allow rain in. - The screws for the roof don't tighten down... EVER! And are lifting as we speak because of the way I had to force them to screw in, which ended up tearing the screw holes on the roof panels. - There are holes with nothing to attach to them around the sides and corners... As in support points! - There are screw holes in the roof panels that are NO WHERE NEAR any support to attach them to! - Door frame is very sturdy...HOWEVER... Can't get the screws to go in to attach the hinges and hasp... - Parts were rusted. - The base has what appears to be a faux galvanized steel finish chipping off. - The entire shed is basically shrink wrapped in saran wrap... As in each piece individually, completely wrapped. It's all scratched up and peeling, which means it looks like hell, unless I want to spend more hours trying to peel it all off! There has to be a better way than this to protect the finish! Remedies: - Entire roof will need to be caulked to keep water out. Period. - I figure gorilla glue might be able to hold the side arms in place, but not sure. - Flex Tape for all the larger hole areas, as well as the holes in the roof panels with no where to attach anything to. - Going to try some self-tapping screws to see if that fixes the issue with the hinges /hasp. Maybe on the side arms as well... Don't know if I'll have enough room at this point. - Need screening inside of the vents on the side arms, otherwise you will have wasps, etc, flying in and nesting. In summation... - It looks good. - It will definitely hold what I need. - However, I definitely recommend looking elsewhere for a shed... I've bought and put metal sheds together before... Not my first rodeo. - The fact that I can't secure the roof is absolutely insane... - And I should not have to spend more money, and waste more of my time to fix what they should have fixed before it left the manufacturer. ... show more

  • Great shed!! Very sturdy!!
Color: Gray White Size: 8' x 10'
Took me while to do. Approximately 7hours. Fun project to do with my son. A lot more sturdy than anticipated. I used silicone to help seal it all and to increase its sturdiness. I live in a very windy area so when I seen max wind was only 25mph. I was very skeptical in building it. But very happy with the outcome and it’s extremely spacious inside! Only downfall I will say. That you should not screw in the roof fully into the walls because when installing the roof panels. You need some flexibility. ... show more

  • Pretty good storage for the price point
I read other reviews extensively before buying this and they were right on point. Having help makes this build quicker and easier since the first few steps are hard to do alone. We built a wooden base to attach it to and left the floor framing in. It fits 24 of the large black and yellow Home Depot storage tubs easily. Otherwise turns out sturdy-ish (normal use, not abuse). No missing parts, no misalignment. Good storage unit for the price and looks great in our dog run. ... show more

  • Works For Lightweight Utility Shed
Low-cost, lightweight metal shed that takes a long time to assemble. Arrived in good shape with no missing or damaged parts. The English language manual switches between English (only) and on many pages, German only. Despite the language screw up the directions were clear and accurate. There are just so many screws and bolts to install that it takes many hours. Pre-drilled holes all aligned. End result was good but plastic film on framing metal is un-sightly and doors were difficult to make perfectly straight in frame. ... show more

  • Easy to put together Easy to put together
This product was easy to put together. I was able to get most of my outdoor garden tools out of the rain for the winter! This was my goal. I have a small space, so it fit well. I did have to create a base for the shed, which I did with gravel and clickable tiles. I like that the colors are neutral and don't stand out too much. A shed does not need a lot of attention. I like the more modern lines that this shed has, even though it does not match the design of my house. The slightly sloped roofline to let the rain drain off the back works perfectly. It is simple and easy. The only downfall is that it is not big enough for an adult bike. I ended up needing to get another bigger one for my camping gear and bikes. I do would recommend this product. ... show more
