The media could not be loaded. Pretty close to perfect right out of the box. Some small adjustments to the choke. It starts right up. Idles and accelerates perfectly.

The media could not be loaded. This 2150 FoMoCo replica is a good carb for anyone starting from scratch or doesn't want to rebuild the old worn one. The complaints I have are: it doesn't include any installation aids, like no instructions as to float adjustments, no fuel inlet filter, no vacuum caps. I have had carburetors in the past that included those. I checked most all of the adjustments before installing and everything went smooth except for the "high speed idle" screw. It is the screw that sets on the choke cam on the right hand side, it was VERY loose with no friction to hold the setting, I could turn it with my fingers and put some thread locker on it afterwards to make sure it didn't back out. It has a "plastic" fuel float, like most all have now days. You can still buy the brass floats, or keep a spare on hand if you don't have faith in the plastic floats. It's a good carb for a 302 and ford thought they were good enough to use for around 20 years. It still doesn't get great gas mileage, but I didn't really expect much there anyways. I would also avoid ethanol blends if it is possible. Overall a good replacement carburetor and I approve of it. I Hope My Review And Video Was Helpful To You !!

The motocraft 2150 that came with my Jeep was in terrible shape. This was a great value. I had to look up which vacuum hoses to cap and run a 12V wire to the choke. Other than that it fired right up like a beast. Keep in mind you will need to also buy an adapter to make this work on a CJ7 if it wasn't already converted to a 2100 or 2150.

Opened the box and pieces had come apart Wasn’t bagged and mounting plate looks like it had been installed immediately sent it back Checked the reviews and took a chance not happy

Although it did start and idle with it on the 390, I never could get it to accelerate or run smoothly on the road. I went and overhauled the old carburetor and it is running fine with it. This carb might work on a different engine better.
