I have put just shy of 1000 miles on this carb. This carburetor works as flawlessly as the Rochester that it replaced (Take that as you will.) It bolted directly in, and lined up to the intake well. As a random vehicle collector, I have no less than 6 others sitting around and it is awesome to find a reasonably priced reproduction. The throttle linkage attachment points were in the OEM correct location. The throttle plates are tight and firm, the shaft has minimal play, the choke is functional and adjustment needles are tight fitting and show no signs are premature wear, the secondary flapper is weighted within tolerance, and there are no air or fuel leaks. The new Holley Rochester and this, when compared side by side, have an almost identical appearance. Which makes sense as some Holley carbs are now made in china as well (or so it says on their own box). While I am sure once in a while a bad carbs gets through, as a mechanic, I am unfortunately quite skeptical of the reviews stating it leaks immediately. That is why I chose to purchase anyway. ALWAYS check the floats/needle valve before installing any carburetor. They do tend to move/stick in shipping, and then cause overflows and leaks. That is even written in the instructions, yet somehow people expect it to bolt on to everything! They do so without even checking the adjustments, or accounting for shipping movement 🤦♂️. We all know how packages are treated in shipping, to think nothing would move is ... I obviously had to adjust the idle and secondaries for the 350sbc on which I put this. However, this carb comes with a couple different jets, so that the customer can adjust to function correctly. If you are a competent mechanic, or someone wanting to work on your own vehicle, and willing to follow simple directions and look up what you do not yet know, this carb should function without issue for a prolonged time.

This looks like a factory q jet carb but it isnt . It has a great look to it it but it's a cheap qjet knockoff.. plan on doing plenty of tuning and jetting to make run right. It fired up outa the box and would run just not very well and not reliably enough to drive. Took several hrs of trouble shooting and adjusting to get driveable. Dont expect much outa the seller there just buying Chinese goods and drop shipping them to buyers. They have no idea where to start when it comes to product support. I will take this as a lesson learned and buy an actual new quadra jet carb next time

This is a well built carb! Was in a pinch and was a little scared with the price being so cheap, but thus is easy to install has nice gaskets with it and very little adjustments needed and it was running better then it has ever for myself! Car or marine very well done for affordability and quality product would buy again no questions asked!

The carb was leaking way too much fuel into the engine. Also, has vacuum pulling around shafts. The return window is quite ridiculous, considering not everyone buys one to out on right away. Those are both the reasons I would not buy from here again.

Float went swimming on the other one. While replacing it I lost one of the metering rods. Placed it in my lap and it vanished. So, I had to buy another carb. Put it in the truck, have yet to start it, other things keep coming up, but it will run again. I have learned the old wives tale about if you leave them sit they get their feelings hurt and refuse to run again is true. But it will run again. I refuse to be defeated.

I think I’ve learned my lesson about buying carburetors other than name brands like holy or Edelbrock, off of Amazon. Complete junk leaked everywhere, but if it wasn’t for this garbage carburetor, I wouldn’t of bought the most pensive one which I did but now I’m happy I definitely would not buy this carburetor again.

This carburetor didn’t work as expected. It caused rough idling and poor fuel efficiency. Installation was also tricky. Overall, I’m disappointed with its performance and quality.
