    • Hole too big.
The hole for antenna stud mount is way too big. I had to use plastic washers to stop the stud from being pulled through and make it work.

    • Used for GMRS antenna on JKU Wrangler
This is nicely built, solid, matches the overall aesthetics of the Jeep, and does exactly what I need it to do. I used it to mount a GMRS antenna on the driver side. I already have a different antenna (2m/1.25m/70cm in case anyone cares!) mounted back on the tailgate, and with the regular radio antenna being on the passenger side, I decided I wanted to separation and chose to put the GMRS antenna on the driver side. Super easy to mount, take out two bolts, hold bracket in place, reinstall two bolts. That's it. With the very, very limited option for antenna mounts on a Wrangler, this is a good choice and the price is right. It also doesn't make permanent changes to the Jeep like if you would drill and install an NMO mount on the cowl or something. I like it for that fact alone. The harder part is getting the antenna cable routed cleanly back into the cab but that is not the fault of the mount! My SWR on the GMRS antenna is surprisingly good with this mount at about 1.3 so it will work well for my needs. ... show more

    • Rock Solid Antenna Mount
There's almost nothing to this antenna mount. It's designed to be attached to the window mount of the jeep and fits nicely. Then, run an antenna base up through the provided hole (which is the right size, and attach the antenna. That's it. Now, I've got a UHF/VHF antenna that's about 60" long. It was mounted on my hood, and gets in the way (vertically, it's on the side of the hood). Throw it up another 18 or so inches and who boy, I was starting to look at underpasses to see if I had clearance. HOWEVER That also meant I had a little more height, and therefor just a tiny amount more reach with the antenna. It's a very good mount. ... show more
