Plant doesn't come with instructions for care, but easily found online. After reading other reviews, I did immediately report it, In the same pot, to loosen soil. Nice little starter. Arrived faster than expected. Would recommend if you have the time for proper care.

    • Hard to Take Care Of
When I received the bonsai order it didn't look anything like the photo; t was much smaller and thinner. The ceramic planter was not nearly as nice as what is shown in the photo. I have other bonsai plants that are doing fine. This one didn't make it. It was not worth the cost.

I first brought one of them grow a variety of Bon Trees to try to grow a few of my own don't do that that produced NO results even when strictly followed directions. This tree the one in the picture looked nice at first and stayed nice for like two months then dried out very quickly looking like a harsh sharp desert plant. This product came with 0 directions on how to care for a Bon Tree. The tree was packed in the pot to the point where for awhile my little tree was getting no water to its roots. I had to eventually take it out of the pot and fluff the soil and repack the roots now I am just caring for a dead tiny tree basically. I either A. Wish this came with care for information a mini booklet or B. Wish I never brought this tiny tree that only looked good for two months. I also didn't know it was gonna be a thorny sharp tree. The only thing good about this product was it was packed and shipped fast. But because it didn't come with any care information like how much or when to water it or when to unpack and repack the roots. I feel like I did not get my dollars worth on this product. If this company sent me this product again with a mini instruction on watering / unpacking and repacking it's roots/when and how much watering and sunlight needed to keep it green and healthy i would be more then happy to write a better more then 2 star review on the product but as it stands. I am gonna say this is not a Tiny Tree for beginners and I would not suggest buying this tree with out a book on how to care for mini trees. Then 2 stars is only for fast delivery and well packaging. Sorry Guys I really wanted this to be worth it but it wasn't I am basically caring for a dried out dead Bon tree. ... show more
