Although traditional Japanese bonsai live outdoors, you can enjoy these little trees indoors—in your office, your kitchen, your bedroom, or bathroom. These tiny trees add just the right touch of dramatic decor to any indoor space. Since they come in various sizes they fit perfectly on desks, tabletops and even shelves. Bonsai prefer a bright spot indoors; place in a room where your bonsai will receive a significant amount of indirect light during the day. Water when the soil is dry (about once a week). If the container does not have holes, use approximately half a cup of water, adjust as needed for your environment. Do not let the Bonsai sit in overly soggy soil.
